The pixel art is very cute, and the music complements it well. We agree with the other commenters that having the camera focussed on the player would probably improve the experience, but an even bigger upgrade would be some kind of health bar for the enemy. This would allow the player more feedback on how well they are doing, which gives a sense of progress even if you lose (since you can compare how much damage you did vs the previous try). The boss having different phases was a nice touch that added to the challenge :)
I think this is a great start and nice idea, just a few simple things I would fix to make it a better experience. I would fix the camera, as others have said, so the character is more centered. Also I would add some sort of reaction to being hit, for the player and the character, because I can't really tell if I'm hitting the enemy or if they're hitting me. A change in sprite, and death animation, a sound effect, something.
Good job! I love the pixel art and also that you included some animations aswell! As the other ones said I would set the camera damping a little bit lower in order to see where you are heading as player :)
Nice pixel art. You should try to center the camera on the player because most of the screen is useless while walking. A visual indication when your hitting the boss would be a good addition.
I also had the issue a few others had where the boss spawned on my head. It would've been cool to see some action on the long walk up to the boss. Give the player a chance to try out the mechanics of the game :) cheers!

Tried to play it a few times but unfortunately the boss kept teleporting in me causing me to lose all my health. I made it to the 2nd phase once though, that was satisfying :)
Props to the graphics, very nice looks!
It wasn't a bad little game, with nice retro graphics. I really wanted to try to beat it but I kept losing all my life almost instantly when he'd teleport right on top of me after I hit him. Besides that, I enjoyed it, and I would have played all the way through if I could have.
