Short but entertaining!

This was almost cute… almost! It had an interesting twist and pieced itself together near the end. It did not have anything horribly scary but it definitely keeps the player guessing.

Overall, not much bad to say! It is a solid and well polished game! Good job!

I loved the game! Short but quite enjoyable

I loved the graphics and the music, it creates a quite intriguing atmosphere and the outcome is unlikely.

It really makes you feel like a terrible person!

The music and sound was brilliant! It complemented the graphics and the developing of the story perfectly, overall it is a great game I like how you conveyed what was happening through the dialogues and the flashes, great job!

Seems like a simple slightly dull game, and the you notice... Well done, you really pulled it off! We particularly liked how you did the music.

Very simple but very well done. My only complaint is I wished there was more.

WTH! At first I thought this is a boring game, but after "doing the first task" I knew sth was up! Really nice game idea and well put together!

I feel sorry for those kids, but it had to be done.

Damn. Nice game. This is the first game I've seen (including mine) with a story other than 'Oh something spooky is happening, be afraid!' It has a deeper kind of horror.

Thanks =), I find getting all the right experiences needed for a good scary horror game is hard in a jam, but with a musician, we decided a creepy alternate reality story was definitely doable

Very well put-together game. I loved the creepiness of the old-school kids game like Oregon trail, and how it deconstructed itself into madness over time. Great idea, very well polished and executed. I only had one problem... at the end, instead of going back to the menu, I accidentally talked to the last guy I had talked to before the game ended. Fix that and you have a perfect game on your hands.

Developer

Ah yeh, that end screen was hastilly put together and I figured if a bug happened after you'd finished the game it wasn't a huge issue lol

Cool game! Love the story and the twist in the end. Really made me curious to what I've actually done xd

The flashes were very well done! It definitely didn't look like a log there.... Seems I was right.

Very well done, I enjoyed playing it!

Developer

Thanks for playing, I think the distorted music track Aidan made definitely helps with selling the glitches from reality.

Cool retro-style with a twist! Job well done. I wasn't a fan of the "mafia" ending, it really lended itself more to a supernatural or psychological kind of story IMO. Fun experience though. Nice work.

Developer

Thanks for playing, we decided on the idea of you doing mundane tasks that are secretly horrific early on, I just found the easiest explanation for why none of these people were reacting to your actions is if they're all working with you.

Nice game! I liked the story, actually quite a shocking ending. But i knew i wasn't cutting wood! :D well done.

Developer

Thanks =P the wood was one of the sprites knew I needed to make anyway, so I figured I may as well have some fun with the "wood stack"
