The games art is cool and the controls felt good but there was alot missing in terms of game feel. everything i could say has already been said so i wont repeat but good game none the less maybe just tone down the scale of the game and then you could build off it later. it would be cool to see some screenshots and color on the page though, gives people more incentive to play
I liked how you could choose where to go at the beginning, heh, it was a nice touch. Anyways, it has potential and the movement is well executed, I think my gripes are that right now the shooting felt buggy, enemy AI was blind and load-zones were confusing at first. Of course things like sound effects and background music is also welcome, but time limits and other constrains are understandable, so in the end, you have pretty good start for a top-down survival shooter! Oh and mad respect for tutorial, those are really good to have and this one was executed in a short but sweet manner.
The name is very fitting though haha! I tried multiple times and each run ended almost miserably for me. Anyways, good job ^^
Very interesting game. The shooting is a little confusing along with the enemies AI. The concept has a lot of potential though
I'll see how I can improve on the gun play. Also, see if adding some sound design to the weapons may help i suppose to.
I think the map could be even smaller, but with more content and maybe some small puzzle. Other than that, this game reminds me of simple good shooters from my childhood :)
I liked the core concept of the gameplay, but I didn't feel like there was much of an objective in the game. Additionally, it was fairly easy to evade enemies which reduced the tension of the game. The level layouts were nice, but I felt that adding some lore incentives scattered throughout the levels would encourage players to explore and fight more. In summary, this game has a ton of potential and with a few updates (more enemies, etc) would be a very enjoyable experience :)
Appreciate the feedback, I'll look into fixing the enemy AI a bit more to make them more threatening. I will talk the Level Designer and tell him the feedback.
We originally planned on making the map bigger with an objective but Godot 4.0 kept on crashing when building the level. I'll see if I can update it and make tweaks. Again appreciate the feedback!
