  • I love the innovative idea of having the platforming mechanics transform based on where you are in the level. It creates a fun tradeoff between easy and slow and difficult and fast that could be explored further in a time trial type game mode!

Very cute little platformer! I do wish you could run a bit faster because it felt very slow in the beginning

I wish the camera zoomed out a tad bit more, it would be nice to see more of the map when playing. As other people have said, yes I also agree player speed could be increased. Otherwise, it was fun to play and I like the graphics (more specifically the player) a lot

Hey Devlakh!

I made it through adrenaline! Definitely a cozy little platformer that could be expanded upon and made into something great.

Some notes after playing:

  • I definitely agree with others that the player speed could be increased, but I understand that our little squid buddy is just movin along as quick as he can!
  • I think the auto-jumping could be removed -- there were times when I was first getting used to the controls that the auto jump screwed me up and I fell into an enemy. Not a huge deal though!
  • I definitely think the spooky factor could be increased on the game with much darker colors and maybe some swaps of assets. I did really like the cutesy aesthetic though!

What I liked:

  • I did enjoy the track that you picked for the background music. Definitely adds some tension to an otherwise very cute and chill game :)
  • The jumping itself was very nice. I liked that I was almost gliding along -- very cool!
  • The higher score for more risk is a very cool idea. Would love to see that expanded.

Definitely continue developing out the game and getting some more mechanics/polishing in here :) Cozy little entry

I made a video of your game. It's at the 2:46 mark of this video.

Cute and cozy art, classic games

Not really horror. Character moved kind of slow. Sort of easy.

I like the vector graphics. They are really cute. The character is a little bit slow though. Hope you continue working on it.

Cool platformer, I like the idea of being rewarded for taking risks, but not frightening enough :/

Solid little platformer here.  I dig the music and enjoyed playing it!

While the game didn't really fit with the horror theme, I like the concept of how the player character would go O_O when they were on the bottom of the screen. I think it would've been better if the platform graphics had a bit more inferno-like textures on them to make it feel like the player's going to burn alive if they fell too far down.
