For transparency and fun with math:

So a few people really did not like this piece, but more people did (with a sizable chunk of 3 stars, which I read as "fine to pretty OK"). Luckily, I still like this piece (which is not always true of things I make!)
All in all, a fine and fun first attempt at a game jam.
Not to size?! Coward!
In case it’s not clear ─ I bloody love this
Haha, right now I'm very much into "try it and see" layout and there was one version of the map that was just slug body, with it largely off screen, but I decided that was both not to size and too silly.
I love this, a lot of content in such a small package with great presentation.
Thanks for reading! I've got more stuff planned to write (but also a 6yo kid, ha, so we'll see what actually happens).
Concise but packs a lot of punch. Very cool!
Agreed!
Aw, thanks! I really like small pamphlet/brochure style adventures these days, so that's what I was going for.
What level is this designed for?
Good question! I was thinking 1-3 -- the encounters besides the big slug god are around LV 2-3 (or modified to be lower, like the bear with half HP) but I kinda hope people find non-fighty solutions to most of the encounters.
I love this. Open ended with several means of progression and in such a tidy and aesthetic package. Well done.
Five stars once it comes up in my queue.
Thanks for the kind words! I was really trying to keep it tidy and open-ended, so glad that hit right! (I was/am a little worried it might fall on the side of "needs more guardrails/GM help.")
I'm going to try and run this soon!
Oh, wow, please tell me how it goes!
creative scenario, nice map and cover image. Good stuff!
Aw, thanks! I'll confess that the scenario was inspired by the image.
Reading this was a delightful experience. A wonderful scenario that I would love to run or play in.
Aw, geez, you're too kind -- but I'll take it even so! Thanks for the encouragement!
As a Game Master, I found this really insightful
Aw, thanks!
