I liked the ability to choose your path at some points.

Good game but you could improve the graphics, because the game felt a bit dizzy.Good job

Developer

Totally, I am NOT a good artist - I'm an even worse artist on a time limit! Glad you had some fun though, thanks for playing.

Wow, what an interesting idea! Congratulations on the effort and the game. I found it very unique and creative!

Developer

Thank you so much! I'm glad that the work that went in comes across. Not as polished and beautiful as Lunar Caves but I'm proud of it

interesting mechanic of combat. i had a difficult time figthing the bosses cause of their regen, but it was probably just my skill issues. nice

Developer

Thank you!

I added the regen quite late, I figured the bosses needed something but my implementation is the wrong kind of tricky. Thinking about your comment now, what I should have done is added health bars at the back of the queue instead of the front. That way you would have to keep up the pressure but you would always know what button to press next.

fun! very original & ambitious for the control scheme! oddly enough (given the control scheme) it almost gave me a typing game feeling? well... until i found out i could just mash the buttons!

great entry overall! well done

Developer

Thanks, rassoc!

A couple of people have observed that it's easier to button mash your way through the game and I completely agree. In hindsight I should have put in some sort of penalty for it.

The typing game aspect hadn't occurred to me at all so I absolutely love that observation. I can't unsee it now!

Thank you for saving the moon and for your kind words.

I think that the interpretation of the theme was very original and also it felt good to play the game. awesome work!

Developer

Not as original as your key kour idea but thank you! It's not perfect but I'm proud of what I managed to throw together in the time.

interesting game - to be honest I didnt know what Im doing I click A and D so fast and win this very quickly, so ther should be like some logic to prevent that behaviors- good job !

Developer

Totally take your point on that one! To prevent fast tapping what I should have done is lock out your weapons for a split second if you use the wrong one, just long enough that it's faster to look at the colours and attack properly. Unfortunately I only just had that idea so it's a bit late!

Thanks for saving the moon, I'll look at Dungy next.

exactly! -  Time -  is the biggest  limitation during gamejame

This one was really fun to play, however it was difficult to tell what to do when being attacked other than spam buttons harder.  Looks good and definitely worth another play!

Developer

Thank you, jddoesdev!

The tutorial prompts/radio transmissions were a very late addition and maybe not the clearest.

If you see the exclamation point, press and hold A for red and D for blue, you will put up a shield and block the attack. Then continue on your merry way.

You submitted GravRunner, right? When I've recovered from the weekend I will rate that one first!
