In my opinion is a good gam, the music capture the essence of space, but I had a lot of collisions with  the balls(or are the balls have big colliders or the player has a big collider), I recommend to add a coins systems and a win condition. But in general very good

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing. I'm glad that you liked the music. It wasn't explained super well in the game, but the goal is to shoot and destroy those balls, and then it'll fly you down to the core when you go over the top again. In the middle you have to destroy the pillars, and then fly out, and you get a little cutscene. I'll add it to the description because I've had a couple people confused about the win condition.

jajaj ok I understand, keep it up.

the vibe is amazing!  it's an excelent base for  a realy cool game! if you want to work more on it I whould suggest you to collect something or distroy something  and then jump to another planet. just an idea! good job!

Developer

Thank you for playing. More planets would be a good way to expand the game for sure. Just out of curiosity though, did you figure out how to destroy the probes (red circles), and go down to the center?

No, i didn't . but i played again  i did it! maybe you could make the  red circles to change color each time they hit so to give feedback to the player that you can destroy them .  nice ending by the way. the cinematic was amaizing!

Developer

Glad you were able to finish it. I wanted to have some sort of hit feedback, but just ran out of time for it. Thanks again!

Music and style fit well together. Cruising around the little planet is cool. Had me think of The Little Prince driving around on his planet. Maybe add some baobab trees. The turning mechanic is also cool.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing, and the feedback. I love the idea of some trees, so I might add them after the jam.

This game is a vibe, the feeling of driving around the small planet with the dramatic light change is very cool, also I loved how the stars sky boxes looked like. A bit of extra feedback when hitting something destructible would go a long way, like a sound effect and a bit of shaking, and maybe a car motor sound effect. I know it's in space so there is no sound, but the rule of cool... think in the rule of cool!

Developer

Thanks for playing! I had hoped to get some more sound effects added in, and just ran out of time for it, but I'll probably polish it up a bit once voting is done. Thanks for the feedback, and I hope you had some fun with it!

The best thing about this is the vibes of driving around the small planet with the music and the space planet setting. I think you can definitely do something cool with this, but the gameplay needs some work. Maybe if you could slow down and speed up it would feel better to shoot at the targets and not crash into them.

Developer

Thanks for playing. In hindsight, controlling speed would have been a great idea, and I'm surprised that I didn't think about it. The gameplay is definitely a shell of what it was meant to be, but hopefully you had some fun with it.

I think everyone feels that way about their game tbh

Really fun game. I just recently got the idea of adding a space type game in my head so this was fun to play. If I had to critique you on anything, it'd be that the controls are a bit wonky and you can accidentally spin yourself into the sides but that's probably just a feature of the game. I was just doing way too much of the spinning.

Developer

That's for playing, and I'm really glad you had fun with it. I absolutely agree that the controls could use some fine tuning, I might polish it up a bit after the voting.
