Me, 10 minutes in: 'wait, which one was blue again?'

Developer

yeah, I had that for a long time even. It eventually is just burned in though.

Its fun! I keep getting left and right click confused, but that more of a skill issue on my part lmao, I still made it to 2600 points

As a side note, I feel that these kind of games really benefit from being able to restart very quickly, like one click an less than three seconds quickly. It make them more addictive since the price of restarting is almost nothing

yeah, I mostly agree with that when it comes to games where you die quickly. Part of the reason for going back is I like to split up help notes into multiple messages, that way I'm not posting three text boxes of info all at once. You get more info each time you die. Plus the restart animation and sound effect is pretty satisfying imo. But overall I think this is a good point.

This is a super relaxing game, and the music is great. I liked the mechanics, and the way that the music progresses with a high combo was really cool. The only thing I might change is giving a small grace window when the boxes turn since sometimes you could die from clicking on a box right as it changed colour. Just a small nitpick that didn't happen often however. Great job!

P.S. My high score is 5200.

Great job. I'm glad you liked the music haha. I'm sure it's chaotic noise to a lot of people but ya know.

You're absolutely right though. Once you've mastered the procedure, you can go infinitely until you just happen to click where a killsquare is spawning. And it definitely feels like bullshit when that happens.
