“Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication”.

This is possibly one of the simplest games in the competition.

Basically there are two mechanics: accelerate and change direction. And both depending on how you use them the game is key, you can accelerate to go faster, but that will make it easier for you to crash or you can take the curves as close as possible to the wall, but it increases the risk of crashing, and that's in addition to the acceleration, much more. It's all about High risk = High reward.

I love that the game is based on its mechanics alone, definitely one of the best games in the competition and one of the most fun to speedrun.

The only complaint I have is technical: It would be nice to have some options for music and sound. And also when you press two inputs, the sound is played several times, other than that great work!

Lovely, snappy controls. Stuck to the theme well. I really liked the optional shortcuts to encourage faster times!

One of the best games i have played in the jam, had a ton of fun with this one, and i really like that you can keep pressing on the button to go faster, a very simple and elegant solution for the difficult problem of adjusting the game difficulty to the player, amazing work!

Thank you very much. I'm very happy that you like it. This really motivates me a lot developing new games :D

The music is a bit too aggressive for me, if you add a volume control it would make the game much more enjoyable. Fell in love with the art style of the main character, but all the surroundings could use a touch. All around your game is pretty good, hope you keep on improving it!

This was really fun, the risk vs reward has really been captured well, making this almost feel like a strategy game. Very good stuff!

Great work. I loved the Snake feel of the game and the music played a big part in keeping me engaged.

And in 5 minutes, 33 seconds, and a thousand deaths! Yaaay.. :D Nice game, the fast respawn keeps you in the game. Nice length. Good amount of challenge. Well done

Simple concept, but fun! I love how you added small shortcuts that are hard to pull off but shorten the completion time by a lot.

Nice game! It fits the speedrunning aspect of the game jam very well. I like how you can choose to go faster and take more risks to save time, although I always hold the buttons because it's more fun when it's fast :)

Developer

Yeah me too, I also hold the buttons the whole time to go faster. It's much more fun like that. I'm happy you like it :)
