Nice game! The concept was really cool but I kept on panick-managing my intersection and have my ant in the wrong place.
It is lacking some quality of life improvement (the choose menu was hiding the gold storage and I did not remeber where it was at first, turning a block is not always obvious) and i would love to have little more "fast-paced" ants (I'm doing the first level with 1 miner and 2 food ones and the food is soooooo far away from the storage)
Overall, enjoyable and nice :)
Thank you so much for playing and sharing your feedback! My friend who tested the game also mentioned the need to speed up the ants. I did adjust their speed, but in hindsight, I could have increased it even more. To make matters worse, I discovered that the speed upgrade from the laboratory isn’t working properly, so the game currently has that bug. Fortunately, it’s not something that significantly hinders progression. As for the distance to the food storage, you’re absolutely right—it would have made much more sense to place it at the top. By the way, I really enjoyed your game too!
oh wow! very deep gameplay and different logics for a game jam. Definitely hard on understanding the concepts at first, but cool after you get what things mean. nice job!
The gameplay was very solid once I figured out what was going on! I think this game would really benefit from a tutorial, as the mechanics are pretty in depth! I really liked your interpretation of the theme! I think the menus could either be placed in a different spot, or have a lower opacity, so that it is easy to see what they are blocking. I really liked the music, and I think its fits well!
