This game was fantastic! It felt quite similar to my game I think. The art was beautiful and it fit the game so well! The difficulty level felt decent. Everything worked really well, it felt very polished. Overall, really nice work team, you should be proud of yourselves! :)
Thank you! We certainly appreciate your kind words. :)
Nice game ! Music is on point and pixel art is amazing ! Good job !
Thanks :D!
Very charming aesthetics and music! Once I realized the colors of the houses matched the treats, the gameplay really clicked, altho it did get a bit repetitive after a while. I played the browser version, so I wasn't able to beat the game in the end, but I liked the monster designs in the game over screen!
Thanks for playing! My team and I are glad that you enjoyed our game.
Great game!!!! I love the art, the music and the idea. Good job!
Thanks for playing our game! We are happy to hear that you liked it!
Threw my candies in the thrash twice on accident because they were right nexto to the door :( But the game is really well made. Didn't find some annoying bugs while playing the game, the graphics are really cool and the music too. The gameplay gets a bit repetitive after a while (it might be just me idk) but other than that really solid game.
We're really glad that you enjoyed the game :). I'm sorry to hear that you had a couple of accidents with the trash cans while playing, that will certainly be something we'll adjust when we make an update!
Very crisp and clean! It made me realize how bad my short-term memory is when starting the 2nd level, I believe. There's not a single gripe I have!
Thanks Victor, we're glad you enjoyed our game!
The game was fun, and I loved the 2.5d aspect. One gripe I have with this is that I didn't know what button to press to get the candy from the houses at the start, I thought it would be space since that's the dialogue button, so either make it work with space as well, or at least add some indicator. Also, the squash and stretch is a bit delayed on the houses, although that may just be lag.
Thanks for the feedback! Yeah we could definitely improve the clarity of what the controls are in the beginning. That will be a change in the next update we make. Also the squash & stretch delay is something we didn't catch. We'll start looking into that. Happy Halloween!
P.S. I loved your game! My team and I found it kinda satisfying to send all those trick or treaters to their demise.
This style is my favourite of all time. I absolutely loooove the look of the game! Wow! This is what I would imagine my dream game looking like lol
Really really good job guys, you killed this!
Happy Halloween :)
Thanks a lot! We plan on making updates in the future to make it more fun, fix bugs, make the game more balanced. I'll have to check out your game when I get the chance. Happy Halloween!
Love the look of this game! The world is cute and I love how you can actually see other trick or treaters walking around. Great job!
Thank you so much! We appreciate your kind words :).
Really liked the perspective and the pixelart, especially the animations!
What i would probably change:
- Make other objects fade in front of you, not just houses
- Have some kind of tutorial since it was quite a bit untill i figured out what i needed to do
- Remove collision on pumpkins and such because it was a bit frustrating getting stuck on them
The first "limited" level after the cutscene is actually the tutorial, as there is no risk! We unfortunately couldn't make trees fade due to prefabs being unpacked and the number of trees made this not immediately possible.
