Nah, you don't have to hold back I absolutely agree. I am not the greatest at coming up with good ideas for games. I was also disappointed with how boring the game became. I am happy that I created it though as it was my first game and I learned a lot, mainly that everything I do will create a bug that will take me an hour to fix :). Thank you for the criticism.

Hello, I am the level designer. Thank you for playing our game and giving all this feedback. We had fun making the game but we had only 1 day because we were busy the rest of the time which did put a lot of pressure. The game indeed needs to be brighter. I guess I didn't notice because my monitor's brightness is too high :/. This is a shame because this leads to some people having a bad experience. We were going to add brightness slider but we ran out of time. About the difficulty, Vulpes did say multiple times that it was really hard and I tried to make it easier but I couldn't test it myself because it was not hard for me and he was busy but if we continue working on this project I will definitely try to make it easier at least at the start.
Loved everything except the controls. I like the style of the game, the music, the vibe. The only problem that I had while playing the game was the camera was sometimes place on some very awkward places and it was kinda disorientating. Also the controls are weird but other than that great game. Shame for the ending.
The game looks really cool and the combat is great but the gameplay has a few problems. There were a few levels where I couldn't jump high enough to go to a platform where an enemy is so I had to glitch it a little and that's by using the insane range of the basic attack mid air. Also the game can be really hard sometimes as you take damage really really easy and fast.
Love the way it looks and its really fun. The only problem that I encountered is that there are a lot of performance issues and I am not sure if they are random or if they happen only on certain places but its most likely because its on browser like you said. Our game also has performance issues on browser for some people.
Threw my candies in the thrash twice on accident because they were right nexto to the door :( But the game is really well made. Didn't find some annoying bugs while playing the game, the graphics are really cool and the music too. The gameplay gets a bit repetitive after a while (it might be just me idk) but other than that really solid game.
The art is lovely. There are some problems tho. The biggest one is that there a lot of things that are really really small and barely visible and it gets kinda frustrating sometimes. Also the thing that we need to search are stand out from the background but I don't think it's a problem. Also when the game ended I wanted to check something so I wanted to start a new game but the screen just turned black and nothing happened. Also the music repeating over and over again was a little bit annoying.
It's an interesting game. I won't comment on things like bugged options or the ghosts being weak as you already know about these. The game looks good and I like the idea. A bit short but it's a game jam and it's fun so I don't have a problem with that. The main problem is the insane sensitivity on the camera movement (with keyboard at least) and the enemies attacking only if you are really close to them but the latter might be a creative decision. Overall a beautiful and fun game but has a few problems.
