Good game! I enjoyed jumping around the tree. I think controls should be a little bit stiffer. Overall solid game!

You did a very good job here. Unfortunately I'm very bad at platformers and I could not get past the second level.
I found the player movement fast and slippery, which could have been intended, idk, but it made me feel a bit uncomfortable but if you wanted that, more power to you. I like the acceleration and spring affects. Though making it so you have to look around and find every piece of candy was a bit annoying , maybe add a an extra 5 is what I would do
I liked the music. Platforms are a bit odd and i found that it was difficult to control left or right (too fast) but Im not very good on those type of games hehehe
First and foremost: collision.
Collision really needs some work. I got stuck inside object some times. I even got softlocked inside a moving platform once. So it would need some more work.
And on the same topic: consistency.
The trampolines aren't consistent (which they should be). If you jump and land on a trampoline you get that extra second jump, but if you walk onto it, you don't. This is strange and does not make sense.
However the controls felt nice - except when you get stuck inside something - it was responsive. The graphics looked nice, and the artstyle was consistent.
The first level was a nice first level, wasn't too hard. But the 2nd and 3rd level didn't feel any different.
Also, I don't see a reason to use the crouch (or hide) any time. Maybe you could add some more functionality to it? Maybe harder enemies would do the trick. Since as for right now, there weren't really use cases for it.
Overall it was a decent platformer game, especially for a jam game. I had fun playing it.
Nice controls! Some of the moving platforms felt cosmetic. Definitely hooked me for a couple of plays :)
Good audio, the player movement was a bit much, I think slowing him down could help, It was hard to go on the diagonal moving platform as you didn't stick to it so you sort of slipped of. Other than that good idea, good art and good gameplay.
Cute Luke and music. Controls are nervous maybe too much. When we fall we don't see what is under. The player don't move with the diagonal platform.
Cool game thow.
Fun platformer! The character's low deceleration made for some interesting challenges I don't know I've seen before in games like this. The animation and art had a lot of charm as well. Nice work!
The game was pretty nice! The graphics was pretty good, the sound was nice, but when it came to the gameplay, I felt it needed a somewhat of an improvement. Heres what I found:
- When it comes to the controls, I felt that the character gives a bit of a push whenever I let go of a key. I felt the character movement was overall slippery and caused me to hit into spikes a bit.
- When it came to the pear mob, I don't know if you scripted the mob to do this, but the apple mob moves towards me when I am within its range, but the pear mob moves the opposite direction from me when I am within its range.
- Theres a glitch players can do by approaching the left or right side of the wall and infinitely jump all the way up to the trees height. (Although I founded that enjoyable XD)
- Lastly, the camera positioning. I feel you should of either increased the camera range or give the player a vision of whats under the character and above. This has caused me many deaths because I couldn't really see what was under me whenever I was jumping down the tree whether it was spikes, or the apple mob.
I hope this feedback helps to improve your game! The idea and levels behind it were really nice! :D
