Any Premade Assets?
Music is from a previous game I made. Sound effects are from royalty free sources. I found the dog animation on Youtube and heavily edited it in Photoshop. Alphakind font by Khurasan.

This is a fun game and has a very unique concept!
It has a dog as a protagonist that makes it immediately great!
Nice level progression and level design.
I personally I would prefer a "press any key" instead of the "clicking" to keep my hands on the keyboard. (Just a small detail)
This game is very well designed. I never had to learn more than the basic controls, yet several mechanics were introduced that created new and interesting situations. The movement is tight and the enemy placement never feels unfair. My only criticism is that the onion enemies seem easier than the berry enemies, so the order seems off. I imagine the onions charging the player, which would have the player lure them away from the next jump.
really charming game, amazing for 48 hours. The colour palette works really well, good job :)
A competent little game. The artstyle is interesting and the audio is pretty good, if not slightly loud at times. I liked that the game had a backstory and an ending, that was very nice. I feel a little bit more could have been done with the smashing mechanic, you learn it at the end of Level 2, but only ever use it once more at the end of Level 3, and I don't know if that was a smash or gravity doing the work. I wish there was slightly more with the ending, like a end card that shows Rory on a doggy throne, as the new queen. A short, simple, well paced and well built game, great job!
When I heard the dog the first time Hahaha ... and the evil onions lol.
Really liked the progressive introduction of new mechanics into each level!
Really good game and level design! About audio, in my case the background music stops from the first level.
Hope my dog never finds these magic treats! Good game, at level 3 I had a little trouble distinguishing the platforms, the scenery at times, but nothing bad :) , the design is original. Baron Blackbird is an inspiration from south park ?
Very good game! 4/5
This is a great game! A very solid platformer with good level design. Well done!
This game was really nice! I like the story it told throughout the game and the journey the dog took to get there. The art overall was nice and the gameplay was pretty good. Awesome game entry!
I liked art and levels! Gameplay still needs something, like barking to scare your enemy.
Its a very good idea to use poisones food (for dogs) as enemys. I liked that you gain new abilitys with every grow
Completed this last night and enjoyed it. Clever to tie the 'growth' theme to the way you gain new abilities in a metroidvania. It would be better if a little more puzzle solving or exploration was required but there is still an impressive amount of content for a 2 day turnaround.
We have a puppy too but thankfully he can't double jump like yours - nothing would be safe on the kitchen top.
Best looking enemies in a game. Progression is rewarding and engage to keep playing.
Nice and interesting game! Levels are quite good, the graphics are very cool!
