Quite a nice game, with a unique and interesting concept. I played it on my phone. At first I thought it might be too easy, but then it became a nice challenge. Always nice to see a game with mobile controls too :)
Thank you, actually I thought so that there is a little challenge on the last levels. I had the time to implement touch controls, and to have tested a lot of the jam game, there aren't many ;) .
It's an okay start, definitely needs some tweaking here and there, but still it's a nice idea.
thanks!
This took me back to the those classic games where you have to carefully draw a line through a maze without touching the sides. The game idea is very thoughtful, playing as a bee to save your hive, and the message at the end is a nice reminder. The audio of the game however is a bit buggy (pun intended). The music repeating every time in game in fine, honestly for some it's an aesthetic, but I don't think the audio track should repeat during the tutorial, it should be looping to create immersion. Sounds overlap so a single sound of a bee buzzing becomes an entire hive in your hand. I hate/love the death sound, hate because it makes me jump every time like I'm on adrenaline and planning Operation, and love because that's exactly the sound you need to drive the error home. I could complain about hitbox sizes, but it's a game jam game, so you can't expect perfection everywhere. Great game!
Thank you for your feedback, indeed I did not have time to work the hitboxes perfectly on all the levels, on the other hand I could have harmonized the music on the whole of the tutorial, and not repeat the buzz at each flower ... It's my first jam and I did it to improve myself so it's cool for your opinion on it!
This is a really fun game! I love the sound effects and the level design
Thank you, the sound design fair debate, but so much the better if you please!

the idea is amazing, but its kinda difficult, other than that Well Done
thanks :)
It's a really difficult game but I liked it. Try to make the collision shapes a little bit smaller than the sprite. I died many times without even visibly touching anything
you're playing it on computer or smartphone? Normally the game is made for smartphones, and I have the impression that collisions are better managed from the feedback...
I was playing on a computer but I think it's generally better to make the collisions a little bit smaller because humans have a different perception and think the game is unfair even if the collision matches the sprite pixel perfect. But I think you made the collisions even bigger than the sprite?
on spider webs it is normally exactly their size, on Asian hornets, it must be a little bigger indeed
And the bee?
yes the bee also I had to put on a square collision mask, so for the wings, it must hit if you are too close ...
I love bees. Fun game with an important message too. Save the bees!
thank you, indeed if this game contributes a little to this message of preservation I'm happy
I like the mechanic but the sound of the bee is slightly irritating haha. Great job!
I had thought of making the sound a little quieter, but I found that it added to the challenge, thank you :)
Those damn asian horns!
Fun and challenging.
Flying over multiple flowers to get to your next goal got very loud which was unpleasant. I didn't find that the game held my attention for too too long but I enjoyed the concept and thought it was rather good for what it was.
Thank you, indeed the game is not made to occupy more than 3 to 5 minutes, the sound of the bees is rather pleasant for me :)
Fun game, enjoyed all the sound effects but could get chaotic at times. Enjoyed the spring theme!
my only two complaints are that the hit boxes are a bit wonky and the retry button doesnt really work
but other then that great game
You playing it on computer or smartphone?
computer which as you said was a watered down version , so i just realized this might be a computer issue
Yes normally the game should work better on a smartphone, but it should work on a computer too!
Nice game.It fits perfectly into the spring theme.I like it.
Thanks, its my first jam , your comment makes me very happy :)
My first jam too :)
