Really enjoyed playing this with Theo! We sometimes play an "analouge" version of this on planes/trains so it was great.

If you worked on this further, I'd love to see the addition of unlockable backgrounds, increased grid sizes or maybe even pickups!

Thanks for jamming with us :)

Simple work but well done for a short Jam. The gameplay loop suffer a bit from the randomness, I feel that sticking to your area of the board and hoping for good rolls is the best strategy.

Grid style games like this can have some deceptive difficulty in their programming, so nice job getting it all working!  I agree with what others have said that it's pretty basic in its current form, but it's well made and works which is impressive for anything submitted to a short game jam.  Nice work!

Thank you! I never made a grid style game like this and you are right, it was deceptive. Glad I got it to work!

Simple but fun and well-made :)

This is a well executed game, the visuals are cohesive and jazzy.  However, the gameplay is underwhelming.  With the amount of movement being determined by a die roll the ability for the player to control the outcome is limited.  The flow of gameplay is good, but there isn't much for the player to do.

Agreed. I want to add some other mechanics to it, but couldn't during the time crunch. Might try something similar later on, or in a different project.
