I do like robots

wow, this felt good in a way that hurt me.

Today I learned, I do not handle dehumanization well.  Watching my character information be stripped way was a powerful effect. Additionally, the story and experience was very engaging. The style reminded me of the old point-and-click games of the early flash era.

That scene is pretty intense, yeah. Thank you for playing!

The interface and sound design match the mood nicely. I like how the dehumanization kink fits the gameplay and story choices. I particularly like the part where your character data is replaced. It works fantastically well as a  narrative element and makes clever use of the customization mechanics.

The art style for characters and environments clashes a little with the themes in my opinion. Something with a grittier palette and slightly less cartoony may be a better match.

Thank you for the comment! The scene with the character sheet was an idea I've been thinking about for a while, so I was happy to find a way to make use of it.

It's true that the palette and the environments are a little simplistic. I didn't have a dedicated artist to work with, and I started the game jam a little late, so I ended up having to cut corners. If I were to continue this game (or make it into a series), that's something I'd look into.

What a lovely game and story, and with such fun art, too.  Thank you for putting together something so warming.

Thank you so much!

From one robo-weirdo to another, nicely done!  Love the existential crisis blended with a longing for affection.  Art style is charming, too.  I certainly hope to see this universe fleshed out some more!

Thank you so much! I do enjoy worldbuilding, so I might do something else with the setting, haha.
