I started early
Chapter 1 is from before. It's labeled with its publication date. Chapter 2 is for Strawberry Jam, and I made the entire thing during the jam.

This was a fun experience. Some very comfy writing in there, but also some rather spicy, ah, interactions. I had a good time with this and would be very interested in seeing the story continue.

Also: The little low-res pictures really add a lot of texture. They help break up the text nicely, and you've done some great work with the limited palette there.

thank you!! your pixel art is very stylish, so i'll happily take that compliment. this is my first time doing character art at all, and it was really fun.

Hey, just played through both chapters.

I concur with MeiZi, the way you described Freddy's experience with Gaspard was really hot, you surely got a knack for writing arousing things ^^

The addition you made between chapter 1 & 2 are really good. The pixel arts help make the experience less dry, and the choices give the player some agenda.

Overall really good narrative bit, would like to see more. Maybe offer more diverse perspective for a main character ? (male, futa, non-binary ?)

thank you, roland! i really liked the dice mechanic in your game, too.

Thank you, that's actually the reason why I began trying to make my own games.

I've had those quite neat concepts from time to time. Shared them with some devs I support. But this time, I don't really know, it felt within my reach. So I jumped the gun.

Sure, actually making things is another beast, and my concept changed a whole lot while I was working on it, but I think this experience will be invaluable for future projects ^^

Read and enjoyed both chapters, though I think the second is definitely the stronger of the two. I especially enjoyed the way Freddy described his experiences with Gaspard. It was very well-done.

In the second chapter, I had a hard time choosing which crew member to spend more time with as they were all quite engaging. So I really like that there aren't separate routes, and you can spend time with them all in one playthrough. It was very close, but Cache is my favorite.

thank you meizi! (was just talking with a friend who checked out "sclera" and agreed with me that it's really cool.)

it was really fun to write a computer character! would definitely recommend it.

A wholesome and well written story! I really enjoyed the bite-sized presentation of it, with the text in the center and animated illustrations to anchor it. That setup does a lot to keep readers engaged without feeling overwhelmed! The only potential area of improvement in that regard is maybe a slightly thicker font, though it can be zoomed in the browser.

I really like what you're doing with the limited color palette. In most text adventures this wouldn't be the case, but since every action you take is illustrated, I think that pictures for the sexual encounters may be something that players will expect to see.

There was a bug that showed up in both of the browsers that I tried using. At first I thought that the story choice options just didn't always appear when they should, but later I realized that they were just out of the scroll frame with a small margin on top that could still be clicked. I was still able to play though the story, but I don't know all of the choices that I made.

thank you, impy! the bug you mentioned is a known thing with the language ink, because the way it includes images creates a weird space buffer. (there are ways around it, and i have janky ideas of my own, but i ran out of time this time.) but with just one image per chunk, you were missing, at most, like, part of one line. no whole choices, thankfully.

Where does one enter the coupon code to get the game for judging? Would it be possible to add a bundle with just chapter 2 for the purpose of the jam?

Developer(+2)
