I started early
There's a whole dang binglesworth of Creative Commons stuff in there, so be sure to check the credits

Some assets and concepts have shown up in previous projects - mostly relating to the GUI, because there's only so many ways to do that. Everything else - i. e. the actual content - was created during February.

The engine is actually *not* re-used from Reset Day, because Reset Day is hilariously broken on a technical level. It just looks similar.

The Story In The Game Makes More Sense Than Most Modern Games

Which Drone Type Is The Best In Your Opinion.

Developer(+1)

The best drone type is the one that most speaks to you personally, of course!

Though I have to admit I like the science-y ones, because they're gigantic nerds.

Are You Planning On Making Another Game To The Series

Host(+1)

god i hope you like, string these all together or something one day, i always look forward to them

good drone vibes as always

i love the fucking porky capsule oh my god i think about that all the time!!!!!!  (but it was mother 3 not earthbound i think)

Developer

Thank you for the kind words! It's always a lot of fun to engage in drone vibes

Yeah it was Mother 3! I thought it would be funny if he name-dropped the wrong game in addition to getting the ending completely backwards, haha

We All Are Good Drones

I wish this were completely keyboard-accessible. Also it took me seeing that there were people who enjoyed the music to realize that the music menu options did anything. It should probably default to having a non-zero volume setting and show what the current volume level is.

All that said, fun little story.

This is so good-looking, so smooth-feeling, so much fun, and SO funny. I love your work, I'm glad you're back this year.

The cargo segment is a bit jank? The two events seem to be mixing each other up a bit. But other than that everything's running great. couldn't pick between cat and irl for the life of me, i'll have to replay it lol

also do i get a brownie point for spotting the homestar runner reference

Yet again you pack in so much story in such a short timeframe.  <3

Wow, I'm not usually a fan of point'n clicks, but this is qute good =)

Even though I'm not into the kink (I dislike forceful mind manipulation), the casual tone of the writing made the whole experience satisfying. And the world building is really good too ^^

Just a bit more horny, and this game would take the cake. Since it doesn't seem to be your first rodeo, I'll take a look (after I'm done rating for the Jam ^^')

I like all in the game. Concept, writing, characters, art.

Very well done. I would gove more feedback but storytelling is not my forte.

Very polished, I like the art and design, for me it was a little hard to understand what to do next at first, but then I decide to explore and explore and it unfolded the story. Good work!

The new animated character sprites look great, and the menu design is superb as I expected! I always enjoy all of the subtle visual effects in your games, like the moving portrait silhouettes, character transitions and the reflections on the title screen in this one. They just make the presentation feel polished and deliberate.

There's a good amount of descriptive writing, it's neat that there are so many world elements to check out in different ways. It's also cool to see the story branch out into three routes at the end with their own flavor text. The overall narrative felt somewhat leading at times with a few of the major plot hooks introduced a little abruptly.

Music selection is excellent, the tracks capture the tropical island theme perfectly. There's a good variety of sound effects for the screen transitions and notifications. Most of the time you're taking and interacting, so perhaps there can be some sounds for the more common action the player performs?

This is a big game to finish in a month, and it feels very complete! Excellent work!

Yes, I am a good drone. Great game! Really engaging story.

Minor UI bug I found: If there are multiple interactable objects and you've already clicked on one, you can't actually select another without first deselecting it by clicking on the background.
