This is a very good game, love the whole idea, just had a bit of problem with the UI having to be cramped because i play on my laptop and i don't have a gaming puter, still could play the whole thing no problem, the notifications were too excessive, if there was some square icons you could change that to be more less overwhelming notifications.
this is just some suggestions, its a good game, me likey, i named the dragon and made the colors as pyrocynical
Enjoyed the mechanics of the game. I feel like the game could have used some events, at some point your just waiting for upgrades. Once you have a large amount or resources, it kinda just snowballs. Either way good job!
Oh, very good combination of kink and genre, bravo. This is a very creative entry, and well executed! I had to stop cause I found myself getting too hooked on the idle gameplay, haha.
Neat! Like the others have said, solid idle game with a lot to manage. Takes a bit to get used to how the game works but once you do, it can be pretty fun. The sounds were funny but for me I think they were too frequent/constant that it tended to distract rather than mesh with the gameplay. Perhaps a music track would have helped soften that although I think offsetting the sounds a bit more would help as well. Otherwise, looks good and fun once it gets going.
Solid idle game with lots to manage. There's always a new things that the game lets you do as you make progress, with flavorful bits of narrative text to introduce them! The web window version of the menus need to have vertical navigation of some sort.
I liked the dynamic world with the moving kobolds. The randomized colors felt a bit too broadly spread, I think there could be more rules for which can be used where. A mellow music track is often a good match for idle games, the sound effects felt a bit too prominent without it.
The game stays faithful to everything it sets out to be, and does a good job of keeping the players engaged in expanding both the dragon's lair and it's primary occupant.
A surprising amount of content, as "interesting" as the sounds were, the game ended up being very entertaining and couldn't find myself stopping 'till I finished it. Pretty challenging resource-wise which is a good thing.
I loved this game! The pacing of the weight gain felt great
Even the space and resources management aspect was surprisingly challenging and fun :)
If this ever gets updated I'd love to see one additional size added, and animations of the dragon walking around and doing stuff (and gradually doing less as the game progresses obviously!)
this is adorable. love watching the kobolds bumble around while i, uh, manage. direct. chief eating officer
my only regret is that i cannot end the game in true paperclip maximizer fashion by eating all of my kobolds in one fell swoop
If we do ever continue making this game, paper clip maximizing, but with food, is definitely on the roadmap. I mean, how could you not?
Anyways, I'm glad you liked our little game. Thank you!!
I got so big, so quick! Got to find a bigger lair for that EXTRA THICC dragon tushy. Had some troubles understanding how the game plays at first, but got over it quickly.
This was a fun little resource management game.
BIGGER
But for real, fun lil idle game
A very fun idle game! Managing resources was challenging but nice.
Im a big fan of idle games, so this was right up my alley.
Controls and UI felt overwhelming, and the storage management felt pointless, but liked the overall progression and pacing
a quick little game, cute little artstyle, and it's funny you can just eat the bolds if you want. and i think if you were stealthy enough and muted it, you might be able to play it at work haha
Watching numbers go up is always very satisfying and the nice simplicity of the game is welcome. The management aspect grows pretty quick and before too long I had more resources then I knew what to do with. The game doesnt get too complicated or complex which is nice. I think its cool the team behind this were able to create something which is nice and amazing while feeding that need to see my hoard increase. ~
Absolutely loved this one! Had more content than I expected it too, and the flavortext is superb!
Idle-clicker is an excellent choice! 🤔 I’m not sure if there’s ways to add to the dynamic, its simplicity is its virtue. I did have difficulty getting the browser-window version to behave, though it’s perfectly fine if you play full-screen. Thank you for sharing this game with us!
Such a fun way to be a dragon and to have all your Kobolds do your bidding.
The constant wobbling effect on the dragon is a bit much, but overall, this is a fun WG game to play.
^u^💜
A management game that features a dragon on a quest to expand their lair... and their stomach!
I found the management aspect of it surprisingly involved, specially early on, one has to be actively monitoring things to make sure things go smoothly. As the game goes on it becomes a bit easier as the economy of scale takes hold. Management games are at their best when the player is rewarded with a bit of breathing room to plan things out as complexity builds up, and while the complexity is limited by the quick development period, it does reach that point of relative stability where I can think and manage things to my liking.
I will say this is not quite my cup of tea kink-wise, but I can see how plenty of perople would find it enticing, and it's definitely removed from traditional preferences which is very much one of the more interesting criteria in this jam. Another general comment is that the screen was a bit crowded regularly with tooltips and resource messages, which may have been better left a little smaller, and if the tooltips only showed up after hovering over an option for a moment. The game is also not quite playable unless it's maximized, as the UI is not fully visible on the smaller web player, but that's not really much of a problem.
All things considered, I can see why someone would enjoy it, and I certainly enjoyed the management aspect of it well enough. It's an adequate effort for a jam, and while it's rough around the edges the same can be said for many other projects, my own included, so I applaud the team behind this one.
This is literally the best game I've ever played.
