This was a game I initially didn't really get, so I left it for later. Finally got around to coming back to it, and dang, I'm glad I did.

First of all, it's a fun game with a cool style. "FMVcore" is exactly right, and it simply oozes style and athmosphere. It can be a bit difficult to tell what's a control and what's decor, but some small changes (like having controls light up on mouseover) would really help. As would having some labels, I ended up having to take a screenshot of the tutorial and keeping that open in a separate window.

It took me a few tries to figure out the hypnosis part. Turns out it's "pull lever, select screens, pull lever again." Not "pull lever, select screens, wait." And the screens go by number of button, not colour. But I did figure it out in the end!

All in all, this is pretty cool. It does something neat and it's got good production values. The lack of tutorialisation might actually be part of the point, I think? When I did figure it out I definitely felt smart. Plus, hey, orcadrones. These are always nice to see, they're cute.

This was quite a fun game in a style Im not too familiar with. The art was really cool and how the game plays with audio and visual management kept me on my toes throughout the game. I was a bit confused by the explanations but after a bit of practical use, I was able to get familiar with it. The voice acting was a nice surprise, I havent encountered too many renpy games that have that setup. But maybe thats a bit more personal experience than anything. It was fun to play with quite the kinky and creepy atmosphere. ~

The polished presentation really sets a neat mad science mood! There's a lot of visual detail with a good selection of music, ambient noise and sound effects to set the atmosphere. I don't think I've seen a Strawberry Jam game that had extensive voice acting!

What you do in the game feels a bit vague, even after instructions, which I think is the point, but there could be a bit more user feedback regarding performance. Some additional labels on the controls or a manual to refresh your memory may help with that. Perhaps a couple of progress meters could go up or down to show how you're doing? They would also also be something to watch while waiting for the next issue that you need to fix.

The screens sometimes changing on their own and controls getting locked confused me at times. I think that the game should let you do whatever you want but punish you in a clear way for doing the wrong thing rather than restricting your actions. This approach may add some engagement and offer a learning environment for new players. Another way is to visibly hide some of the controls until they become relevant.

The writing felt fitting for the setting, enough to give a taste but leave plenty of mystery. You've done a great job of really putting the player in the seat of a sci-fi control panel with plenty of immersive details!

Absolutely impressive visuals, and good sound design, not to mention full voice for one character.  I liked the feeling of panic when I suddenly have multiple tasks competing for my attention.  The intrusions are all very spooky, and some of them are funny ("Wait who left a coffee mug on my control panel!")  I experienced some bugginess around the client requests, particularly when they happened really close to one of the waves going over or under naturally.  It seemed like sometimes I was clearly doing what they said, but they seemed unhappy anyway.  That isn't what did me in though.  Somehow an intrusion got through that I didn't even notice, so I game overed and wasn't sure why.  If I have time after rating the other games (I almost certainly will), I'll come back to this one and go for a good ending.

P.S. You might want to click the Windows and Linux icons on the download entry so people can see what OSes it runs on ahead of time.

The visuals are quite unique, reminds me of old FMV games from the CD-i days. The eerie track in the backgroud is very fitting for the visuals, and the visuals themselves seem to replicate what I assume was the desired style well.

I will say that the auditory anomalies were a little loud, and the game had a tendency to trigger dialogue sequences right as one of them started, leading to me having to endure a loud constant noise while I tried to read, and making me mostly speed through the text so I could get to dealing with the anomaly quickly (this also happened at the end, which drowned out the voices entirely and went on during the credit screen). Some of the voice lines cut off early as well, though that's a smaller issue. I felt like the game session was a bit long, or at least anomalies and wave imbalances happened all in a short burst and then led to a long stretch of time where nothing was happening.

It's not really my thing kink or gameplay-wise for the most part, but it's still a very well made project with only one or two bugs that affect the experience. Everything else is there and well made, specially the visuals! It must have been a pain to get them all in place within the jam's time limit, I'm very impressed at how well they emulate FMV style, very stylish!

i will say the controls are a bit hard to figure out with the ques, might just be me,but what im supposed to do when is quite hard to figure out,the buttons lighting up a bit when used might be good

It has potential, for sure! The premise is interesting, and the voice acting was quite a nice surprise - although sadly some lines cut off too soon. But I’ve felt that the gameplay is confusing with all the jargon. The artstyle is very unique, but it also made it harder for me to follow the explanations.

we absolutely need to refine the explanations, but once you get going it seems to take off. We are working on some of the errors.

Love the creepy atmosphere, and very cool art design.

During the game I often had no idea what I was supposed to be doing. I wasn't able to memorize all the information from the frontloaded text tutorial without having any context, and I forgot what each lever and button was supposed to do.  Then I restarted the game to read the tutorial again, and then I knew what I was doing. Or so I thought. Until at some point the game told me that I lost, and I had no idea what I did wrong. Then I did another playthrough. Again I was thinking I did everything correctly. And yet, at some point, the game again told me "your victim was snatched, you lose".

I’ve hit some of that, some tweets and improvements needed.  Thank you for trying it out!

I had to give this one 5 stars for aesthetic just for the background rendering. Fmvcore as FUCK. I LOVE IT. And I didn't know Renpy could do such things! The gameplay is confusing at first, but I got into it. I liked this one! 10/10, would make a drone again!

thank you so much!  Glad you enjoyed the game.
