very fun, it's pretty awesome that there are two separate gameplay loops, that's quite a feat for a game jam! good job good job! Sadly the nighttime combat didn't work for me and I couldn't do anything, but that's ok I like it still (:

my rating: 2 villager eating cave demons out of 3

Could you explain exactly how it didn't work?  This would help a lot.  Thanks for playing and commenting!

A decent game, a really unique and interesting twist on the theme. Some bugs, but otherwise works good. Though sadly I went to day 30 before stopping, but it said I only made it to day 0 :(

I will have to look into that, thanks!

Super fun to play! Nice job! Its smooth and I like how it resembles two different types of things. Nice job!

This is a really cool and also really ambitious project! I really liked the part where you could make decisions about your village.

I found the RTS part a little frusturating, though. I wish my warriors automatically attacked instead of needing to be ordered to do so. Archers and mages not shooting at enemies while they follow me feels kinda dumb. Also, where's the music and audio?

All that aside, this is a really cool and impressive game, well done :)

Thanks for the feedback!  I might do a bit of a rework with the commanding system, it does feel a bit slow to use and low skill.  I will probably add audio after the jam, it was just being really annoying to work with, and I didn't want to have half the game have buggy audio.

Fun fact, this game is the first playable game on flowlab to use math to determine if a point is inside a polygon or not! It's used for the code to let you draw a line around your troops to select them (at least I'm 90% sure that's what FlyingFajita did here, correct me if I'm wrong)

This game is a lot fun, and quite impressive for the short time it was made in. The decision making during the daytime is tricky but balanced, and the nighttime combat has lots of potential variety and depth to the strategies you use (mostly thanks to the awesome troop selection and command system)

Anyways, great work FlyingFajita!
