a good art style and a great attempt at the game though i did not understand what i wa meant to do about the enimies apart from avoiding them and some texture and hit box glitches occured when i played it but other than this a great attempt at the requirements for the game.
A nice experience. The sprites looked quite nice and the theme goes well with both the music and your team name.
I did experience some issues with collisions but nothing that you couldn't work past, towards the end (the only place I really fell) you seem to just fall infinitely.
Fun game with a great atmosphere - the sprite for the main character was exceptionally cool.
This game was really fitting with the art style, and music. This worked as a good combination together.
The Animation for the attacking would need a bit of work, other than this, a really good attempt at a platformer!
I love the art syle of the game and how well the music fits with it, the soundtrack aswell also gives the feeling of being on a hostile world. It has a solid base for a platformer, a good game overall, good job. A few critiques would be the attack animation, no kill zone under the map and the lack of the end screen. With the last one I was unsure if I died or won.
You've captured this atmosphere of an unknown alien planet really well! I love the character sprite and the music fits really well. The parallax background works well and makes the environment feel a lot more expansive, but I do feel that the screen is a bit cluttered and the ground tiles don't really stand out.
The game could definitely use expanding with longer/multiple levels and some kind of combat (it looks like this is the direction you were going) but this is a really solid start to a platformer, very well done!
A solid submission that is functional, decent visuals with an accompanying soundtrack. I liked the visual style of the character and enemies and for the most part enjoyed the game.
I do think that this is relatively simplistic. It was evident that there was some sort of shooting mechanic intended because when I held LMB the character seemed to loop an attack animation, but nothing seemed to happen. The environment could have done with some polish as it felt different from your character style, ensure that your artstyle remains consistent throughout. Finally, the game felt a bit short and could have benefitted from either more levels or more complex gameplay.
All in all, this was a good attempt that I think definitely holds potential. For some of you, this may have been your first experience working with a team on making a game; what did you learn? What went right and what could be improved on? Nice effort.
A good platforming type game, loved that you included background music which made me enjoy and want to play the game for longer which was suitable for the surroundings, I liked how you made the main character like an astronaut but feel that there could have been some improvements, with this I feel that there should have been something when clicking as when this occurred the spaceman moved and nothing happened but arm movements, was he supposed to shoot? and was unsure if there was an ending as got to the end to expect a you win screen but it went back to the main screen and unsure if I had completed it or not and would of loved to of seen another level but a good game overall so well done!
