How did you choose to implement the Theme: Alien Infiltration in your game?
In the game, the player wakes up in a room aboard an alien spaceship with two humans, but is then told one of them has been replaced by an alien, disguised as one of you. The aliens are testing you, and you then have to decide which among you is the imposter.
Did you implement any of the optional Bonus Challenges, and if so, which ones?
All 3 are incorporated:
1 - an alien has infiltrated the group of humans, and you have to work out which of you it is.
2 - phase one of the game has the aliens abducting humans, and in phase two, they’ve replaced one of them with an alien imposter.
3 - there’s a brief scene where the aliens are conducting cruel experiments on you.

Wow, I was honestly caught off guard by phase two, I enjoyed phase one quite a bit and then to have to decide which one had been replaced was a great touch.
Lovely art, music and storytelling, I literally had chills when I failed to pick the alien and got killed by the alien. Fantastic stuff!
Haha glad the alien scare landed, I worked quite a bit on that :D but thanks so much, I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Interesting game! Since it was kind of two games together I'll rate them separately. Although a volume control for both would have been really nice.
Phase One:
Pros:
Simple controls, easy to tell what to do
Cons:
UFOs didn't seem to know where you were, so there was no reason to move your humans unless they were randomly lining up above you.
Way too simple. Needed something else to keep the player engaged.
Phase Two:
Pros:
Story was engaging. I wanted more of this.
Art was fun.
Cons:
I didn't know X advanced the dialogue, so I quit. Then I played a second time to see if it mattered if you avoided the UFOs and found the x button advanced the dialogue.
Too short, really needed a few more people to interview. Really interesting concept.
Thanks!
Julian
Hey thanks for all the feedback! Glad you liked the art and story and will look at improving the cons in an update / future jams - cheers!
A short, interesting game. The visual style and sounds go well together. I really liked the second phase, I wish there was more of it.
Thanks so much, glad you enjoyed it! And yeah for sure - originally I had a longer / more branchy phase 2 planned (versions for a few different characters, if there were multiple aliens / if you were an alien) but I ran out of time :')
Great simplicity with the controls, definitely an addicting little game! The story and theme implementation were a bit lacking but for a game-and-watch style game this was fun and challenging.
Thanks for playing and the feedback & glad you enjoyed it!
