Aiming was difficult for me but I got the hang of it. fun game regardless
Really loved the game mechanics. It’s addictive, sometimes unforgiving haha. I’ve accepted that Babylon.js will be on my radar - I won’t have time for it but it has my admiration. I love the use of space, the shifts in perspective and the emptiness work well. Given that you did this in less than a day, all the more impressive.
great game love the relaxing music , I found that it was easier for me to play in full screen mode. I also would have liked to be able to switch the camera from portrait to landscape to make it easier to check my aim when not in aim mode and in view mode. very addictive
Decent mechanics and game loop. I felt around with the controls before I realized they were in the description (I should probably scroll down first before a game in the future, haha).
Sometimes it's difficult to get a feel on the sense of distance when aiming, so you have to switch views often to estimate the cannon position as well. Additionally, for some platforms, it's more of a trial and error when you miss until you get it right, meaning losing 2-3 points until you just regain 1 point in return, which throws off a feel of a highscore system and takes away a bit at the fun.
Aside from that though, the art is pleasant and the music is calming as well. The cannon blasts did scare me a few times from its thrust, haha xD. And sometimes I made the same 1 bell "ding" twice, so that was fun. I'd say you did pretty well on that bell concept, bells ahoy!
I have to say that while having somewhat clunky controls, the game was fun, just when you thought you had the perfect shot, you either under/overshoot the bell. Great game, gave it a general 4/5
As the description suggest, it's basically a game about shooting bells with cannons but you execute that rather simple idea beautifully. Firstly, this game despite being so simple is extremely fun at the same time and I also love how you given the cannon balls some aerodynamics so that it doesn't seem rather obvious than it's appeared and thus required some trial and error which made it really fun actually. The view of some shots should be improved slightly as for some of the target it's appeared off camera but I get use to it rather quickly.
I'll give this an overall rating of 4 out of 5 stars.
Found the controls intuitive which is good. The first few shots felt awkward like the cannon ball just fell out of the cannon but I got used to it quickly.
Really fun game! 4/5 (sometimes a little frustrating :v) It had a very good adaptation to the theme, 5/5. I found that the cannon has a little offset from the aim camera, also something that you'd really help would be a trajectory view (maybe you can only use it once per bell or something)
My score was a perfect -20 :)
