Fun game but I could pass level 2 lol

Very difficult

If you were superhero/villain in the Marvel universe, you’d be called Difficulty Man. Some of the levels are challenging, that’s becoming a trademark haha. I accidentally pressed “Back” while aiming to the side, and that was frustrating to start back at 1. Otherwise, it was pretty fun.

Developer

I wasnt expecting the Back button to be a big problem, I guess its on me, just as the hard levels XD, the levels took me roughly an hour to create, right after the creation of the levels, I had 2 hours for the Jam left so I spent it on the Volume Bar and Audio Manager (took me longer than needed) and then just when I thought I was ready to upload, I found the UI not properly scaling the way I wanted (because it wouldnt be good to play with all UI in the middle of the screen) so I spent the final 15 minutes panicking over this (first time setting UI scaling and wasnt scaling the way I wanted). I guess I should have made the back button more obvious when fixing the UI seeing that more than one person ended up clicking it.

Don’t sweat it, we live and we learn. But it did hurt haha

great game . Had a lot of fun playing  the satisfaction of  clearing a line  of bells and having the ball drop  in the box  AWESOME !!!

Developer

Nice to see you enjoying the game

One of the first noticeable things is the easter eggs even on the menu screens, with the gift box catching the ball xD

Using 10 balls for all bells with each level, while trying to time it to land in the box as well for more balls allowed for so many strategic and time-sensitive moments. In the end I got stuck on level 3 over and over because I kept running out lol.

But I did find funny things such as pushing the ball into the box at corners sometimes made the ball roll out and back in, giving 2 free balls haha. Once I tried aiming far top-left and mistakenly pressed the back key, going to the menu. The "Levels" button just took  me back to level 1 though lol...but I got to level 3 again in no time (and was stuck there again :P)

Fun game overall though! Nice use of bells, and really upbeat music that didn't seem to get annoying at all.

Its really funny that you say the music was good when I consider Audio my weakest link in Game Development. I created the levels within the 3rd to  last hour of the Jam, and when I playtested it, I would just make 9 shots and if there was around 2 bells for the last shot, I would consider the level possible. Saving level position is something I should do for future games, for the least a save feature. The Easter eggs on the menu screen is something Im always doing, its my way of introducing what you are getting into and lastly, I unintentionally/intentionally leave bugs in my game, either because Im pressed for time or I think they make for incredible plays, in this case I left getting multiple balls in, just because I thought nobody would find it, I was proven wrong XD.

Thanks for the comment and criticism Danidre.

Really cool! Don't have any “criticism” except for places the ball does not bounce for example the walls that would make things a little bit more interesting.

Implementing the Bouncy Ball was something I had initially planned, but because of time, I wasnt able to implement it. After the Jam ill release a new version as it was supposed to be, rather than how it  turned out.

Some of the levels were pretty challenging; I appreciated the time you spent crafting them. I wish the balls bounced a little more to give the chance of making some crazy shots possible.

Developer

The levels were, just as the game was created, on the fly, they just naturally come about, one of the key things I wanted to implement was a slight bounce to the balls, but when I implemented it, it only bugged itself outside of the playing area. Looking back at it now, I wish I spent more time on it.

Inspiration from games like Peggle which I really like. I also like the multiple levels with different challenges. May want to make the ball bouncy to ricochet off of walls and bells

Developer

Around 22 hours into the Jam I had no idea, I just randomly opened my game folder and then I had the idea, a peggle style game, instead of bricks, we have bells.
