Yoshika obtained. Congrats on your first solo entry, I really like the CG's and backgrounds in this!
thanks :D
A chill short time
The art is the best part on this, I hoped a bigger plot twist at the end, so I think it fell a little short, but it was an accurate representation of the characters.
A little short story that could need a little more work and routes, but it works great as a concept.
Thank you! I wanna do a remake of this game in the future. I wanna try to level up my writing and gameplay before i get to do it
I found my Yoshika.
...she kind of exploded though.
A short and sweet game. Writing could have been improved and extended way more, but the art was cute and presentation is overall decent. Good work!
Thanks :D Glad that my first game got some positivity. I'm not that good at writing but im glad alot of people like it.
Pretty simple story, but I like the art - the style isn't fleshed out but it does already have a personality. Also having the dream's event kind of opposite to its real life counterpart was brilliant!
As was said before, short and sweet. The writing was far from perfect, but it does the job. Also, more games should start with a character's hat falling off and catching fire. Great way to begin any story, really.
I love the art style in particular. The characters vaguely remind me of Seinen manga, and the backgrounds have a lovable sketchy charm to them.
The choices clearly don't matter, which I think is fine by itself-- my main complaint is that there could've been a bit more flair for the "wrong" choices. Even a little pun, or a line of dialogue being changed in the final scene would be enough. The short little dialogue with Reisen works though, and I think more of that kind of dry humor would help.
In short, 'twas nice.
Thanks :D I'm glad people like the backgrounds. Im not entirely well at doing backgrounds. The art was mostly inspired by the artist of Dr stone and Sun ken Rock. Ill be sure to add some more stuff in postjam or just make a remaster of the game
i did not know yoshika was a minecraft zombie that explodes in the daytime, but that explains a lot about why everybody has a hat. probably the same for remilia
i see that in the path selection and choosing who to talk to at the bar, it shows the other two options after you pick one of them. at first it seems like its getting rid of options youve selected before but then they show up again when you pick something else. i appreciate the intent but it would be best if you went all the way with some flags or just always showed all the options
personally i do not acknowledge ".." as a valid expression in anything other than lua (not english) so that bothered me but not a huge deal
anyway sorry for complaining its neat i like it and all the art is very nice, i like the detail and the departure from your average anime artstyle
keep at it
Thank you for liking the game! I can see the problems there were and thank you for pointing them out. I'm not that good with user experience or whatever its called. Also the minecraft zombie thing was a little joke some peeps came out with in the discord so I had to add it in lol.
ux dont even worry about it much, looks like its your first game so you gotta try some things out and it looks like you were at least thinkin about it
also fantastic fumo profile
yea. I kinda rushed it a bit because it actually took me 2 weeks to make this(art was obviously the most time consuming). I know if i continued working the week before it ended, I would miss the deadline.
Very short, but very sweet. Lovely art style too :)
Thankkssssss
