I love this but I have two problems with it which are 1. reimu is a bit slow which isnt a big issue and 2. the final boss is too powerful for this short game and also because of reimus speed since the projectiles go everywhere it makes it hard to dodge when you are so slow and also theres so many so if you dodge one your bound to get hit by another but besides that i loved the game the kirby styled adventure and this was the first one that i found the lgbtq themes to be the most noticable because of the little kiss you do when healing maraisa so id give it a 9.5/10 but since this has only 5 stars ill give it 5/5

Damn, this was good.

An adorable Kirby like adventure and an amazing reference to Touhou 1, I could say it was kinda easy, since Marisa does all the work sometimes, but even so, the style is so cute I couldn't be mad at all.

Absolutely adorable. I think the kirby gameplay suites touhou a lot. Though the controls here could certainly use some polishing, like being pushed back every time you shoot felt a little odd.  The boss was a tiny bit of a difficulty spike but I still managed to beat it in a few tries. Easy simple and nice. Really loved the art and music, made me smile. c:

"Oh it's like Kirby it'd be so cute if they could share hp with a-" OH WAIT THEY DO!!

This was super fun! Playing in-browser reminded me of a flash game platformer; made me feel very nostalgic :)

The gameplay is great, given characters' abilities to fly the infinite jumps make sense, and with little details such as recoil after shooting a bullet I can tell this is a well-polished game. One thing I wish there was more of was story--Rumia is causing trouble, but we don't know why, nor do we see evidence of it in the game (would she have made everything dark or something?). Other than that, super fun game that I enjoyed playing (repeatedly until I could beat the boss XD)

Wow, everything cutesy, I could feel my body turning into a sponge.

I don't have much to say, I just loved everything in there, the Kirby-like aesthetic was really well done, and Marisa flying and attacking is really cool.

i feel like the message of the game (reimu and marisa are dating (presumably)) is contradictory to the very helpful strategy of MARISA BODYBLOCK

movement is kinda floaty and weird about collision but its alright since game is easy and the art is just great lil dudes with nice music on top

Awesome game! Super cute sprites, character art, and music. Those portraits!

The stage is fun and I like how the tiles have perspective. It adds a lot of depth. And having infinite jumps in a platformer is a nice change of pace. Great job.

Short and sweet Kirby clone. Nice controls and attacks, though the horizontal movement could be a lot faster. I like how you incorporated the kiss-your-partner-to-restore-health bit. Nice little touch. Marisa helping attack enemies is really cool, though it might've been a good idea to either give her more health or make her hitbox tiny-- she died and came back 3 times in the Rumia fight, and I couldn't do much to stop it.

In short, 'twas adorable.

The gameplay and visuals are wonderful, I love how very Flash game it feels, even if that might not have been the intention. The character designs are adorable and the music sublime. I did find myself frustrated at points by the inability to send the bullets where I wanted them to go, but that might be a skill issue more than anything on my end. Ha. I wish there was more story here, but that's also a personal preference. Regardless, you should be proud of your game, as it's very well-made considering how late you folks started!

Im happy to see your project actually came along as it did. If I recall correctly this was started rather late into the jam period and if that's right you did rather well with your limited time. I like how you integrated the kirby mechanics in a way that both adapted to touhou and supported the theme (things like the projectiles, the fact infinite jumps could be used pretty much exactly like it is in kirby and be logical from a touhou viewpoint (the fact people can fly) and the sharing health restores via the trademark kirby kiss). There are parts where the hitboxes either on the player or the enemies attacks at you (cant tell which), feel a bit too unforgiving for some of rumia's bullet shots but the game gives you enough health and a checkpoint right at the start of the fight where it isnt much of an issue. It was an enjoyable short play.
