Ya did it... a polished solo jam build...

Was not expecting such a complete tactics game! Setting aside the praise for pulling off all the standard core mechanics, the yuri bonus is an obvious winner and I quickly came to care deeply for my buns' collective wellbeing. Even if I don't make the best tactical decisions. My only suggestion would be to add an implication of 'the thing that happens' when 'certain conditions are met' to encourage people to test the raw power of full yuri bonus

I was emotionally drained when I accidentally did friendly fire.

The concept is simple but works for what it needs to do. Tewi leads a team of rabbits against "angry bnuy" enemies. As your squad battles together, they gradually come to realize their feelings for each other, and love blossoms on the battlefield.

The visuals are amazing, I'm impressed with what was achieved in the short game jam. The fully 3D-rendered areas were cool to move around in. I did have some minor difficulties telling units apart based on their appearances. There were also some glitches with the lines drawn when mousing over units or moving.

The audio is a mixed bag. There is not any music in game, which is both a bad and a good thing to me. It makes the war simulation feel more "realistic" at least. The sound effects are great. The little voice lines were cute.

The game, primarily being a tactics/simulation game, is light on writing and story.

The controls are intuitive and the gameplay surprisingly straightforward for a tactics game. The enemy AI has a few issues; they tend to move up in your units faces which can make it easy to take them out. A few times they got stuck when moving and it took several seconds for them to "unstick" themselves.

This is one of the more challenging of the jam games. Making it through all three stages without losing a single rabbit is tough without relying on luck (there's a chance they survive with injuries instead of dying), so I was unable to get the ending of the game. However, I don't think the game is unfair or unbalanced.

The LGBT themes are present throughout the game (the yuri system that improves your units), but not reference too much. Since I couldn't see the ending which presumably shows what happens when all your units are all in love, I'll leave it at 3 stars.

Very fun tactics game! however its is rather tough ( I could not get to the secret Tewi ending I am not Tewi tactics skilled enough) A continue feature would be nice! As far as UI goes I wish that there was a more obvious marker for units that still have turns left, as I spent some time wondering if I did anything wrong and why the enemy turn wasn't happening until I noticed that a Tewi was still light blue.

This game ran successfully on my computer through a Wine compatibility layer, so technically it is Mac compatible!

i liked the part where being sufficiently gay lets you headshot enemy commanders through walls. true to real life in a way few war games are

War never changes.

This was challenging and fun. At first I didn't get why you got hearts, I thought it was life, then I noticed the Yuri meter and then I read the explanation on your page (I should have done that first), so a recommendation is to add a hint to notice the meter at the start of the game.

Although, I notice game breaks a little.
- I soft locked it when I tried to move across another unit that ran out of turns, and the game never ended.
- Characters get stuck and their routes are cut in presence of other units, I've played rpgs that obviously block you when you put them at the door spot. This is not a real problem when you realize that, but still needs some tuning.
- Broken hitboxes: very short range does strange things to shotgun bunnies, sometimes the shot goes thru the character without harming it, and others, you don't damage anything, but then  you got shot and ded.

Still, the experience of a 3D turn based shooter was pretty rad, I definitely want more.

PD: stream was kinda boring because of lack of background music, so you might wanna add something (?

Yoooo OK, buns and guns! I'm all for it!

I think I like everything I see here. The concept of yuri-boosted attack is really rad and well executed!
I went through the whole game flawlessly, until the Boss Map. You were the bravest of all Hopper, you stayed behind to allow Tewi to survive. It was the second to last turn too.

I also was wondering why Tewi was the only one not to be impressed by her nearby comrades.
And then I reached the ending, and it made complete sense.

Fantastic tactics game. I confess I had a terrible approach at first. I lost my first attempt in the first level, and afterwards I was finishing all the levels with only 1-2 units left. I felt like starting again but I wanted to see how far I could get. I finished the first cycle with only Tewi and a breacher left, trusty Inaba-06, who, naturally, grew very fond of the commander. I lost my first medic. I had to play it really safe, baiting the enemy and rushing only when I had the upper hand. At one point the pathfinding was almost stuck, but she made it through. I made it to the last battle with only five units, so I had to be extra careful, but by then, my little squad had been through so much that their bonds had only grown stronger.

Overall, a really polished experience, and in 3D to boot. I especially commend you for the movement and shooting mechanics, and the YURI mechanic helped even out my losses, which made the game feel more fair.

Edit: Wording.

And while I'm on it, nice work with the levels too. wareya's tool looks pretty neat.

It's not every day you see a tactics game for a two week game jam... okay Im not sure the touhou jams have had a tactics game yet, so big props on doing it. Game good, however I did have some issues with pathing, both in my character getting stuck on terrain and preventing the game from continuing, as well as my unit overshooting my target point a bit ruining the shot I was lineing up. Also, I couldnt seem to keep any shotgunners alive as theyd be nearer to the front than most and the enemy ai seems to aim for the unit closest to them, causing everyone to auto target the shotgunner. Looking forward to what you do next, you're always trying big ideas and getting them made

I think every game needs a +YURI bonus to hit

Really cute and fun!! I would play the hell out of this, especially one made with more time to add more characters/depth. It's really cool that this doesn't use an actual grid for movement and it seems like the bullets are actual objects: an enemy "missed" one of my units but hit the one a bit behind her. The models are such a cute low-poly style.

Peak audio engineering. Also a very bigbrained game, could definitely be a springboard for something more ambitious.

Yup it works well thanks!

The game is quite nice, it’s rare to see TRPG in jams! The enemy do hurt a lot tho, especially the shotgun and the random crits
