Ooh this really feels like a game from an old console or computer! I would have liked it if the minimum jump height was a little lower but other than that great job!

Developer

Thanks a lot for playing! I am happy you liked it! :D Also thanks for your feedback, I will keep it in mind

Very simple but enjoyable game, throwing the gun is a great mechanic. The art and audio suit it well, but they are maybe a little too minimalist for my personal taste. Good effort!

Developer

Thanks a lot for playing! I am happy you enjoyed it :D

This was the first time I tried such a minimalistic style, so it is good to know your opinion. Thanks :D

2100 points! A very well executed idea, Wuppos! I've loved the simplicity of the visuals and sfx. Reminded me a lot of Downwell. It's definitely a game about balancing safety and risk! Loved it!
I've already mentioned it before in a comment for another entry, but that's the kind of game that would be perfect as a mobile game with some upgrades, maybe different patterned enemies, and such! Great job!

Developer

Oh, a really nice score! Well done :D And thanks a lot for playing!

I have actually never heard of Downwell, I should check that game out as well. Regarding my game, I was actually thinking of making it playable on mobile. It should definitely be possible with such a simple control scheme. I will try to work on it in the weekend :D Various enemies is also a good idea! I should think of what kind of pattern would be interesting to add.

Thanks a lot for your feedback! ^_^

Very enjoyable game, like some people said, if you don't have any luck, enemy can spawn just above your gun, making hard to hit and hard to jump above.

Still, nice idea and nice execution !

Developer

Thanks a lot for trying my game! Yeah, you are right. The enemies can basically spawn at any height now, which can result in really hard situations sometimes. Thanks for the feedback, I will think on how I could fix that :D

Very interesting concept! The game is really hard atm but the core idea is very clever, excellent take on the theme. The pixel art is lovely, a very solid entry, for only three ours of work you did an incredible job in my opinion

Thank you very much for playing and for your kind words. I am happy you enjoyed it :D

Good idea, i'm not really a big fan of the gameplay but with more dev time I think it could make a solid game ! I really like the art style and the sound is nice.

Developer

Thanks a lot for playing! :D And also thanks a lot for your honesty, that actually helps. May I ask what it is about the gameplay you did not like so much?

After playing a bit more I think my problem is with enemies placements, they seems to always be a bit too high or a bit too low making it tedious to shoot them, maybe increasing their hit box would help, the game would be a bit easier but I think the flow would be better (it's only my opinion of course) . Some of them who are flying too low are also unkillable I think, but don't know if it's really a problem, it was probably intended to just be dodged.

Developer

I completely understand what you mean about the hitboxes, and I think I agree as well! The low flying enemies were indeed leant to be jumped over, but I guess the way it is now creates the illusion that you should be able to kill them. I will definitely think about how to deal with that

Thank you so much for your response! This really helps me become a better game maker :D
