I like the good choice of music, really gave the game atmosphere. 

Some little things that you could change with a minimal amount of development time;

  • Make the text panel transparent, Center the Text, and select an appropriate-looking font (I use Free Fonts but there are other sites).
  • At the end of game, zero the velocity of your player. Otherwise, it continues in the last direction and flies off the side.
