when i first heard The Ticks i was like " Some Monster Gonna Just Pop out of nowhere and i will lose " and the sound kept getting faster and i was like gg , But to my surprise it wasnt about that at all :) it's like "Hot Cold Game" and really enjoyed it Well Done

Haha that's what my brother said when he play-tested it which is why I added that line about it not being a horror game. Thank you for playing!

Gameplay : 5/5 - Very clever. Reminds me of a game on my CPC464(!) which was playing on treble and bass. I was looking forward an opportunity for making it again, for a gamejam. You did it first! :)

Visuals : 4/5 - Nice but a bit sad and monotonous

Audio : 4/5 - Effective but simple. Ticks are a bit slow I think, even very near. The phone ring, playing on volume isntead of interval, was a very good idea to renew the game after 3 objects.

Enjoy : 4/5 - Interesting to play.  I lacked a bit of fun however

Theme : 3/5 - I did not really get the link between "isolated" and searching for my phone :)

Developer

I had trouble finding the balance between too slow and too fast and I think with more testing I could've found the right amount. Thank you for playing!

Yes, it's when you just have 3 hours that you realize how much time the balance can take!

I liked the game concept of using sound, but gloom strained my eyes.

Developer

Thank you for your feedback! I'll take that into consideration next time

“not a horror game” - but feels very very much like one :-) loved it! well done!

Developer

Haha it does have some spooky vibes for sure. I just didn't want people to think they'd get scared or something lol. Thank you!

Simple and nice ideas. It’s true that at first sight looks like a horror game. I like a lot the idea of the sound. I wonder if this could be playable by blinded. I used a similar idea but in my case the noise pretended to scare. Good entry!

Developer

Yeah when I had my brother play it he thought he was going to get jumpscared the whole time, that's why I added that lol. That is a cool idea. Thank you!

This game has a great and unique concept! I like that the clicking changes to being a phone after a few times. That gives it so much more variety!

Developer(+1)

Thank you for your feedback it means a lot!

Brought back memories of childhood playing the game "hot" and "cold".  Enjoyed!

Developer

Haha I think that's where I got the idea from. Thank you!
