I had a good time! The controls were smooth and satisfying. Didn't realize what the key was for, until looking at the screen shots after beating it, but it was fun.
Thanks.. I'm glad you had fun
Wow my memory sucked, so frustrating at the beginning, once i came up with a plan rather than just randomly fumble along it was enjoyable. Nice work.
Yeah, the frustrating feeling was intended lol. Those feelings make the game more enjoyable once you figure things out.
cute assets and smooth controls made the game awesome
It was intentionally taken care of.. Movement and Assets :) I'm glad you find it awesome.
Really liked the art style, tho not being able to use A and D to move was a bit weird
Also an instant retry button would have been good, cus my memory sucks and i ended up going to the same dead end like 5 times lmao
I was planning to change controls and some other stuffs like retry and some signs but my engine crashed in the middle and I had to complete something under 3 hours :c I'm glad you like my art style :>
Ah, that sucks
Still a pretty good game for the time limit, especially seeing how u had to redo a lot of stuff probably due to the crash
It was pretty fun just lacking in real substance. It took me about 3 minutes to beat. You just walk around and hit a bunch of dead ends. But everything else is pretty polished. The audio sounds good and the visuals look great
I wanted add more signs that direct the player but I had some issues which made me lose progress in the 3 hour. So I had to rush it up. And it makes me happy to know that you liked the soundtrack and art style :)
This game was a lot of fun and also made me realize how bad my memory was lol. If you expand on this you should put signs that taunt the player in the dead ends!
Yeah I was planning on that but the 3 hour limit didn't let me lol. My engine crashed in the middle which slowed my progress too.
I really like the concept.
I beat in on round 2, I picked up the key on round 1 but I don't think it did anything.
I really like the art and I'm shocked by how great you made it look with just some super simple pixel art and a tiny bit of lighting and a simple color palette.
Definitely going to try using this style for some of my future games. Good Job!
Thanks you so much. I'm glad you love the game and the visuals. And please do send me the screenshot if any bugs happen. It would mean a lot cuz I can't re-create those bugs ;-;
I replayed and realized it wasn't a bug, I just didn't notice the door disappeared the second you get the key. I walked left without thinking, fell and won and thought it was a bug
Totally stole your style for a platformer game I'm working on, hope you don't mind. It looks really good and I suck at art
I can relate lol. I suck at art too so I try to keep it simple..
Pretty interesting game actually, great design aswell. Took me 4 tries to beat it!
Thanks. I'm glad you like it :D
I found your game really cool! I found the key second try, GG! How did you get all of these assets done in time? Anyhoo, such a cool game, and a good use of the theme!
Thanks for trying my game out. I made the whole assets in like 15 mins :) Since I had a small time I made art in 8x8 dimensions and used a 1-bit color palette which made it easier to make them in a short time. I'm glad you like my game :>
