Really cool game! :3

Absolutely loved the corruption mechanic, it was insanely satisfying to use

tyy :)

Yea, i totally forgot about esc being the fullscreen exit button in browsers, and i only found out after i finished the build lol

Also, i decided to work at least a week or two extra on this, to turn it into an actually functional game as a "post jam update", so sound will 100% be added for stuff :3

really cool game!!

loved the style a lot, and the gameplay was pretty fun too

Really glad you enjoyed it :)

tyy :3

pretty cool lil game, would have been cool if the food could have been used for something, like maybe some upgrades to make the player faster, or make their reach bigger. Tho i get that the short timeframe didn't allow something like that

Tyy :D

Tyyy :)

Originally wanted a few more levels, but i was already nearing the end of my 3 hours lol

Also yea, the time limit was a bit messy, it's consistent across all the levels, so it doesn't really account for how much stuff the player needs to do in a specific level

pretty fun gameplay loop, with some gorgeous art

Tyy, really glad you liked it :D

(1 edit)

Really cool game, with some nice art

Did not expect to play a game partly about fishing considering the theme, but it still fit really well

Tyy :)

Yea the build mode was a bit hacky, i didn't disable the physics on objects, i just constantly updated the positions, so if an object got any angular velocity by knocking into something, it would still apply

Cool game, really liked having the meteors go from just numbers to equations, it was a fun twist

Tyy :)
Yea the time limit was really weirdly balanced, both the day and the night sections have hard coded times, so they don't account for a level being easier/harder. If i end up doing a post jam update, that will be one of the first things i change lol

Pretty fun lil game, with some really pretty art

Tysm :D

Really cool art :)

Really fun lil game, loved the style and the gameplay too

The day and night part of the theme felt a bit tacked on tho

Really fun lil game, with lots of potential to be turned into something more

One of the best parts for me was rushing through the map and having a big horde chase after me, maybe you could capitalise on the big hordes and make it a bigger part of the gameplay, with faster weapons / ones that shoot more bullets like shotguns and lots more things focused on taking out big groups like a dynamite throwable, then it could give that same satisfaction as vampire survivors does when you shred through a big horde of enemies

Tyy :D

Ty for playing :3
Showing what the player did wrong is a really good idea, will definietly implement in a post jam update once ratings are over

really fun lil game, with a top tier visual style

loved the fishing mechanic, it was simple but still engaging

only complaint i can think of is the lack of qol things, like there should be a button that sells the inventory without opening it, and a bit that shows the current worth of the entire inventory without opening it

gameplay felt a bit awkward at first, but still a really fun game

also i absolutely loved the visuals, every single thing looked amazing

was a really fun play, could definietly see this turned into a full game, maybe with some powerups or something

only issue i can think of is the menus being insufferably slow lol

Glad you had fun :D

Loved the artstyle, and the gameplay was really fun too

Only miniscule complaint i can think of is that the menu doesn't work with the mouse, otherwise it's a perfect minigame collection, wrapped in cool graphics

Thanks :D
Once voting is over, i'm most likely gonna do a big patch fixing it up, because it could actually be a kinda fun game, but the unfinished buggy state drags it down

Ty for playing :D
Yea, the tutorial was a very last minute thing, originally the plan was to have a separate level for it that explains things as you do them, but got sick for nearly a week of the jams runtime so it had to be cut sadly
Also glad you liked the inventory, it was one of the few things in this project that i was actually quite happy with lol

also landing on eliminated planets is very much a bug lmao

(btw if you want to give it a play again, the furnace has 2 slots on it, the bottom one is for fuel (wood or coal), and the top one is for ores like iron, and once it goes trough, the output will be in a slot at the back of the furnace)

Yea, the game over conditions were very last minute, so it wasn't clearly telegraphed or explained

After voting is over, might give it another week of development, because it's nowhere near what i wanted it to be

(also so sorry for responding this late, checked itch every day and it showed no notifications till now, so i missed a ton of comments)

Loved the art style, and the gameplay was pretty fun (tho it was a tad bit easy to make the player nearly completely stop)

Also the audio was really goofy, the fail sound is literally perfect lol

The movement was really fluid, had a lot of fun hopping around

Also the artstyle is insanely cute :3

Ty :)
Originally planned on doing a full tutorial segment explaining the goal, and all the systems, but sadly got sick for a whole week of the jams runtime, so a lot of the game had to be cut

If you want to give it another shot, the end goal is to craft yourself a spacegun, so that you can project yourself once the alien chasing you reaches your current planet, you can see the recipe of the spacegun in the crafting table, if you scroll trough the recipes

Thanks :D
Yea, the goal isn't clearly told, wanted to do a full tutorial with actual dialouge, and getting taken trough the different systems, but managed to get so sick i was rotting in bed for a whole week unable to do anything

If you want to give it another shot, the goal is to craft a space gun before the alien reaches the planet you are on (you just need to have it in your inventory when the timer on your current planet runs out), you can place down the crafting bench, and scroll to it's recipe to see what items you need to gather
And for using the ship, you just need to be near it, then open the map (M) and left click on any planet/moon to travelt o it (you can also right click to see what resources it has, and it's description)
(Also for planets/moons without an atmosphere you will need a helmet in the rockets inventory, you get 1 at the start, then you can craft more)

Please ignore how the title is not set up in the menu, was so tired yesterday when submitting, it completely crossed my mind

Glad you liked it :)
Yea, have been using unity for a good few years now, so i have a pretty good routine built out with it

Insanely polished game considering the time limit. Loved the art too

Only thing that felt a bit weird was that everything was controlled with the keyboard, but the UI stuff used the mouse

Thanks :D

Had to cut a ton of ideas, because i overscoped back when i was coming up with the idea (as i usually do lmao), so doing a post jam version that adds in said ideas, more levels, and polishes the controls up a bit could be cool

Pretty fun lil racing game, making the same level harder is a really good interpretation of the theme

One extremely tiny nitpick i have is that the music restarts when you fail the level, which feels really weird (could be solved by making the audio source something that doesn't destroy on load, so it keeps playing from where it was at the time of the restart)

Pretty fun lil game, tho the difficulty curve was really weird, started out just perfect and at a point it switched to just holding the shoot button down along with a direction

The audio was insanely good tho, felt really satisfying to hit each shot

A handful of years worth of experience, and cutting like 99% of my ideas lol

Also glad you liked it :)
