What a good discovery ! I really like your way of reinventing the chifoumi ! very pleasant to play ! ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ™Œ

I love the color palette and the music too. It seems that there is no shuffling after the first reveal, so we can easily determine which card the opponent has. I had a good  time playing it.

Hmm, it seems like other people are able to play, but I just see this black screen with L:1. Tried with Chrome and Firefox, no change.

Developer

oh sorry :/

maybe its a driver issue? i tested on Chrome and Edge and worked :/

Yeah interesting, I'll have to try on another computer

So I tried this on two different linux PCs with chrome and firefox each, and they didn't work. But it did work on my gf's computer with chrome on windows. Not really sure what to do with that information. I've played other Unity games that work fine in my linux browsers. Pretty weird.

Anyway, onto the actual feedback. Interesting idea! If it were regular RPS, I think it wouldn't have been great, but the added shared information between the player and the AI of what the total numbers of each cards are is pretty cool, and makes it quite a bit more strategic. I was a little confused about the smaller pictures on the cards, seems like it's just "what this card isn't". I did read the other comment you had about putting that one was a weakness or strength etc, but really everyone knows how to play rock paper scissors, and it's not super necessary here. Though if you were to turn this into a bigger game, that'd make sense.

Great art style, nice music, sfx, solid gameplay loop, well done!

Thank you so much for your effort in trying to run the game!! I wonder if perhaps it could be some version of openGL linked to your account. Since it didn't work on other computers, but on your girlfriend's (another account) it worked.

About de game's feedback, you are completely right. I will remove the smaller symbols from the cards in future updates.

Love the aesthetic. Feels like either DMG-001 Gameboy or a Nokia phone game, visually. Cute and simple!

I really liked the visuals.

The mechanics, a twitch of shifumi with a bit of strategy is really good idea, but stil too much of random (to my taste...)

I'm curious of the new mechanics you want to implement !

Nice idea. But I not sure I understood the cards.

Each played received 3 cards. I think you should make an animation where we can see each player receiving 3 cards (here, we see 6 cards going in a hole, there is a distribution animation missing)

Also, I don't think you should put in small other logo on each cards. I wondered what it means. But it's only a reminder isn't it?

With this kind of little change, the concept that go will shine. I already played shifumi. But not like that: it great to bend some game to create new ideas like that. I love it! congrats! ๐Ÿ‘

Thank you so much for the comment! it really lacks a lot of polish and there are also some animations missing. But that's what I managed to do in the stipulated time.

I also have some ideas to improve this game. Some different mechanics. I will definitely continue the project.

About the "But I not sure I understood the cards.":

I was inspired by the game Buckshot Roulette. The idea is that you remember all six cards in the deck to know which cards the enemy has and what his possible moves are. In the current mechanics, there will always be at least one of each card, and the same card can be repeated up to 4 times.

The smaller icons on the card indicate which card beats which. But I couldn't finish the drawings. There were supposed to be some symbols. Or maybe there shouldn't be anything at all. Since it is a common sense.

Again, thank you for the comment!
