Like this game a lot! Would love to see it improved upon

Some suggestions:

  • Score to show how many blocks burst / orbs collected
  • Sounds
  • Animations (e.g. cracks on blocks)
  • A more visual powerup (I wasn't sure what happened when I got a powerup)
  • Sharper red line at the top (sometimes a block would touch the red line and the game wouldn't end)

Thank you so much! :)

Yeah, I do have plans to take this further and I'll take your suggestions to heart. Glad you like it!

It's very satisfying when a block bursts into a bunch of orbs!

Developer

Hey, thanks a bunch for playing! :) glad you liked the effect!

This was a lot of fun to play. I think that some animations or visual effects to indicate when a brick is going to burst would be cool. The physics seem off but are effective enough at what they are trying to accomplish. There are a few glitches with bricks spawning inside of one another. Other than that it was a original concept with some really good execution for only 3 hours!

Developer

Yeah, a few tweaks and additions here and there would do wonders!

Thank you so much! :)

Very good idea, original!

Only remark is the "push" mechanism is not really precise, and a bit cumbersome sometimes. An enhancement lead would be to replace it with ramming (with momentum), or even just contact. (I'm not convinced by the push mechanism ;) )

Very nice entry

(Is it on purpose that some blocks don't fall when there is nothing under?)

Developer

Yeah, I'll definitely change the push mechanism if I take this further..  it's quite janky and imprecise like you've mentioned.

Unfortunately, the blocks not falling off wasn't on purpose.. more a result of technical skill limitations, haha!

Thank you so much! :)
