I wasn't expecting the car chase, that was an interesting second phase to the game. Good work

Have made a multi-genre game and a game with multiple endings first time.

Edited the theme of game's page.
Gonna tweet my game to gunnar in a while
And finally, will rate every game here

Packing so many endings in such a small game is so satisfying. Great job!
Got way more than I expected! Great art and dialogue/story
To improve it, maybe tell the player to collect ~20 coins to open the exit rather than all of them. And if they collect all of them, they get a bonus.
Also, some parts can easily be missed (like becoming a traitor) meaning players will miss out on the full game, which would be a shame
Hi! Thanks for the feedback!
That was my intention tbh. I want to give the players a surprise when they clear the first level. After that, it is upto them how far are they willing to go. You can take the normal routes and get the normal endings, but the game rewards you for trying out something different and you can get more interesting endings.
You are right people might miss out on some endings, but again, easter eggs are meant to be secret. You need to think out of the box to find them.
I might upload a walkthrough document/video after the jam for people who might have missed some things and want to get the complete experience.
Wow! How did you manage to do all this in just 9 hours?
I like it very much.
HOLY SHIT THEY JUST SHOT THUG PACMAN! I think I know who's gonna win this jam
This is just an amazing game! I'm baffled how you managed to pull that off in 9 hours! Awesome stuff, really blown away
Very fun game and multiple endings is a very hard thing to manage in just 9 hours! wish I could see the bullet when shooting but this game is really fun. plus adding a gun to a randmo character will always make it better.
Cool game!
Multiple gameplay styles in a jam game was not expected but very welcome! I see a lot of ways this could go with even more polish!
Great job keep it up!
So cool, and so unexpected after the first part. Some sounds will make it awesome indeed. The visuals are perfect with that 1-bit style and gameplay is great, controls seem nicely responsive to me, and these multiple endings are the icing on the cake ! Great work
This is good fun and plays really nicely, however I think it needs to be a little more lenient when it comes to accepting inputs as occasionally that was frustrating. Another big thing is that, if you are going to specifically tell the player that should be trying again to get all the endings, then make that possible in the game. It was very annoying to get an ending and then have to refresh the page to start again instead of getting 'ending 2, press R to restart' or whatever.
I also killed all the cops, got all the coins and exited. Then I got the "Don't let him get away" and nothing happened. I tried pressing space and the arrows but nothing so I was left being unsure if I'd found an ending or if the game had bugged out which was unsatisfying. It would be nice if we could be told "ending number 1" or something so that it's clear we managed to do something
You don't need to refresh the page....just press R when at any ending, and it will take you to the beginning again lol
I was going to add popup screens in the end for multiple screens, but again...time constraints...
Ahhh I see where the confusion is now, you didn't press the Z key when you got an ending, and you didn't read the rest of the text. I have written which end you got and "Press R to restart" in every ending.
Great game!
A little suggestion: may be give player some more miliseconds to change direction on turns in labyrinth? Sometimes it gets frustrated when you think that you pressed button in time, but Robman "ignores" input.
Hi! Thanks for the feedback!
I was going to implement a hold variable, but due to time constraint I chose not to do that to add more content to the game. You can hold the arrow keys to make it move so it doesn't ignore the input.
PS: try to collect all the coins, there is more to it than just pacman :)
nice little twist on classic pacman :) I must admit I didn't do too well - I kept trying to kill the cops and getting caught ;) good job!
I like the secret ending ;) but SO annoyed I still got shot on sight after I spent 10 minutes getting past the pacman stage without killing anyone! I couldn't beat the car chase or the "traitor" path - and it takes WAY too long to do the pacman stage 😅 also you get caught behind corners, which sucks 😉 I've increased your rating lol, there's loads more content there than I was expecting!
