I really like the concept and aesthetic of it all! The level design was interesting and worked well with how the player moved. The art and overall vibe was awesome - looking forward to the updated version.

the art style for this game is awesome but the bugged character controller and constant soft locking of the enemies made me constantly have to restart the game from the start. over and over again.

Thanks for the feedback. Most of the annoying bugs have been patched in our v1.0.2 update which will be released after the results have been published on April 27th.

The eerie atmosphere works well. the movement is satisfying and the enemy designs are great. I did run into an issue where I became immortal after I died from a monster. the monsters could no longer kill me. I took this opportunity to explore the map. the level design is good. however, I don't believe there was a way for me to attack the monsters back. all I could do was avoid them. I also could not see a goal other than to survive

The enemy designs are so cute!! I especially love the ones when the player gets attacked 😭

I really enjoyed exploring the map, I liked what you did with the level design: I felt it was fun to explore new areas, despite how challenging some were to get to.

Really well done! I did notice though that I got jumpscared a few times from the start menu however XD

The island I created is split up into 3 regions or "Levels". Each region has its objective (Collect/explore, Defend, Attack). Due to time constraints, only defence and attack made it into the game.

I really like your choice of aesthetic for the game; definitely made it stand out. I'm also a big fan of the creature designs and animation!

The movement is quite cool (if a bit buggy), and the island is nicely modelled. I particularly enjoy the aesthetic of the clouds and water, and those monsters are adorable! I feel like the gritty environment clashes a bit with the creatures, but it's presented really well and has some real flair. Unfortunately it was a bit confusing to figure out where to go and what to do, but it was interesting to explore the island. Nice touch with the FOV change when sprinting by the way.

Thanks for the feedback and playing our bugged ridden game :D Glad you enjoyed the aesthetics! Our team do have plans to release a "day 1" patch (after the results are announced obviously) that will fix and re-add features that had mysteriously broke disappeared in our rush to submit the game
