Wow! Easily the most polished game I've seen in this jam! Particularly great use of environmental assets and level design to make the world immersive. Only thing I felt was out of place was the speeding up mechanic - it didn't seem to add much to the gameplay since there was no time limit (that I could see) other than how much energy you had left for the day. Otherwise, very well done. I also loved the UI - super easy to follow!

Great environment design, great concept, satisfying sound effects, and lovely modeling style! I ran into a bug with the controls where the ship's direction seemed to be decided by its initial rotation after getting inside, and steering with A or D had no effect, so I needed to keep re-entering the boat to change directions. I also wasn't able to leave the port early during the tutorial. Still, the tutorial was effective, and I like how larger hauls of trash require more key inputs; I can see this evolving into a cool series of fleshed-out minigames if you continue development.

Overall, a very stylish and well-considered game with a large scope. Totally on-theme too. This is a really impressive submission!

WOW! this game is awesome! the aesthetic, the design, the gameplay is all top notch! really nice and chill gaming loop, with no really big problems, other than maybe switching between driving and walking was a bit too long, when i needed to make small turns and adjustments to my boat to get 1 tiny trash in an area. also I was able to max all upgrades after 1 day? which going from lvl 1 in everything to lvl 4 was a SURPRISE to be sure hahaha

You guys have done an amazing job!

I think the vibe of this game is really good and I really like the UI/UX of it. I like the gameplay loop a lot! I would make the transition from boat to walking a bit faster because it feels kinda slow when I do it a lot but otherwise, it's super cool!

this is a really good game. the water looks amazing the controls are great the aesthetic is good.
I only have 2 complaints.
The first is when I try to upgrade one of my upgrades, it upgrades all of them. this increases the rate of progression and hence shortens the playtime. I would prefer being able to choose which upgrade and need to take more trips than to get all the upgrades for the price of one.
I would also like to upgrade the capacity of my ship. I want to eventually be able to pick up every piece of rubbish in the ocean without slowing down to the point I will arrive home before Christmas.

10/10, loved the game and what it was going for. :)

Very detailed game! I really like the design of garbage accumulation on the ship after salvage, and the small animations in the cutscenes are also very detailed, including the UI and icons of the upgrade interface are also very detailed.

Wow! This is a solid game, very impressive but a tad short

Submitted(+2)

Very well done, Dredge inspiration mayhaps? Also, as someone else mentioned, the fact that the upgrade applied to all 4 areas made the game really short. really well done otherwise.

The game looks and sounds impressive, and is well executed. I did encounter, what I assume to be, a bug where upgrading any of the four pieces of equipment upgrades them all. This meant that I had enough money to fully upgrade my boat after one day. Other than that though, the game is really fun and well made!

Thank you so much for the feedback! The issues with the upgrade system are unintentional and we've managed to fix it on our end. We'll update the build whenever we can!

I like the toon-y stylised visual theming going on here, and overall the presentation is highly polished. The models here look great too. Good stuff from everyone involved!

Wow, the art style, aesthetic, gameplay, concept. All of it is absolutely phenomenal, and such a small team as well. Fantastic work and I wouldn't be surprised if this gets the gold, good job!

I can't change the direction the ship goes when moving, even when I turn the ship a complete 90 degrees it still goes in the same direction, is there any way to fix this?

Developer(+1)

Really interesting, I'll take a look at it for the next update. Everything still saves though so hopefully you can retrieve your save data; Thanks for letting us know!
