Definitely needs work as far a balance and user experience are concerned, but it's certainly an interesting concept and fun to check out. I can tell there was a lot of work put into it. The enemy laugh and jump sfx are really annoying though.

Things I liked

  • Nice fever dream aesthetic
  • Gameplay is neat.

Opportunities for improvement

  • Shouldn't it be Seppuku not Sudoku? Or is that deliberate and I am just being obtuse?
  • Fire guys seem a lot better than exploding guys, even given the higher price.
  • It wasn't initially intuitive that I needed to manually control my "tower" guys. Had pop out of the game and read the description.

Thanks a lot for playing! Yes, Sudoku is supposed to be a gag on seppuku. :) Sorry I couldn't think of a way to make the characters seem obviously clickable. Now that I had some sleep I would make them glow some bright colour on mouse hover :)

Interesting mechanics. Nice graphics. Liked the ability that you can control the units you spawn. I feel it needs to be expand upon.
