Very good! I liked the dialog, and the story is pretty fun and entertaining! The visuals are very cool, every character has a shape that matches something in the level. The music fits perfectly with the game. Great entry to this jam!

Sorry for the late reply, thanks a lot! :)

I really like the visuals

Developer

Thank you! :)

Cute game, it was fun figuring out where to hide everyone! Though I expected a better ending, like the cutscene from the logo, but it’s alright considering the time limit!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback! :) Definitely had a more interesting plan for the ending, but unfortunately we started working on it too late and ran out of time.

Hey. I recorded a video about the Unexpected jam and included your game in it. If you want to cut your game out of the video, let me know. However, if you like the video, I make similar videos every day. I will be happy if you subscribe. Anyway, I enjoyed playing your game.

Developer

Thanks, I appreciate you playing! :) It's a shame your camera cut out during the clip haha

This was such a sweet idea! I managed to successfully hide everyone with minutes to spare, and I loved the interactions between the guests. Thank you so much!
Developer(+1)

Thanks a lot for playing! Glad you enjoyed it :)

I love the idea a lot! i had 2 bugs: the camera would move really fast or felt like it teleported, the 2nd one was that when i went near the doors my screen would go black until i backed up. Overall, the atmosphere was great! loved the art style, music, the unique ways to hide your friends,  and some of the friend interactions. I can't wait to see more!

Developer

Appreciate the feedback, thanks! The second bug is a relatively easy fix we can implement soon, but we'll have to look into the first one more. If you don't mind answering, was it more that the camera was tough to control in general or was the teleporting effect something that would be triggered at certain times? I do know for sure we have to revisit the first person controls, we unfortunately didn't have enough time for the final more minor tweaks.

Honestly felt like the mouse intensity was cranked up to a 110%. as long as i didn't touch my mouse  it would stay where it was, so i don't think it had anything to do with location. i hope that helps and again i loved the game and you should be really proud of what you got done in a short amount of time! bugs are always going to  be in games so you shouldn't focus on that too much . your game was one of the most polished games i played in this Jam!

Developer

Oh, thank you so much! We really appreciate you saying that. :D The mouse sensitivity thing we realized was because Chris' mouse settings are set a little lower so he  coded the controls based on that haha. We'll be sure to add a slider to adjust that setting in future games to avoid that issue!

Well that was tons of fun! Derek made me laugh, and I liked the omniscient fire guy. Really cool characters. 10 minutes is nice and generous I didn't feel rushed. All around great job!

Developer

Thanks a lot! We had originally planned for around a 5 minute timer, but extended it to 10 minutes for exactly that reason. Glad you enjoyed it :)

Thank you! :)

I screwed up my first run and was unable to do anything else. Glad I took it for a second round and I feel smart now

Developer

Glad you gave it another go!

The game idea was simple and fun, and I like the visuals and the music. I did still only so a black screen when the game ended. I played the browser version of the game.

Developer(+1)

We just reuploaded a new version with some bug fixes that seem to have covered any issues. Thanks for letting us know!

Submitted(+1)

Is there a success condition in this game?

Developer

Just fixed it! Sorry about that

Cool. Love the interaction with Derek, very sharp satire!

I will try this again but I talked to everyone and got them to move behind the vase and plant and pillows and curtain, I picked up the magazine book, the burning sun on chair was unexpected haha, when timer hit 0 the screen went all black! :)

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the heads up, just fixed it haha!
