I Love tihs game, its artstyle is nice the mechanics are easy but effective the controls feel super responsive overall really good

Developer

Thank You! :D

It's a very simple game and I caught myself playing for around 30 minutes. The music is really nice and I love the art style! Something I found to make things easier was swith out 1 and 2 straight from the start so that if im moving left with my right hand the car on the right will move left. This is a great game man good job!

Thank You! :D

The game was a little bit too hard, but really simple and matches the theme really well, Well Done!

Thank You! :D

What I loved about this game is it's simple yet engaging. At first I switched the cars around so I could control the left one with my left hand and vice versa, but I had a lot more fun when I played with them on the opposite direciton. It would be interesting if you set that as a restriction in a future revision. Great work!

Developer(+1)

Huh, i never really meant for the inverted controls to be a mechanic but this post gave me some insight into it. If if do revise the game later on, i'll probably divide the cars between the two lanes. Thank You for this comment and for playing! :D

my left and right hand are not synced thats what i learned xD

So cool. Super good art and music. Make more games Lammaz, cause i feel only hungrier for them now!

Developer

Thank You, i totally plan on making more games! :D

I like the art style and the music! Playing it at first was a bit easy, but when it started to speed up and throw more obstacles it became more fun, which I enjoyed. Being able to move both cars inside each other felt a little cheat-y, but trying to keep them separate was a struggle too. But nice work overall!

Developer

Yeah, that's by far, the most common complaint, but i'm glad you enjoyed! :D

Loved the game play, without playing it it seems easy but I found it surprisingly hard

Developer(+1)

Yeah, i didn't have a lot of time for playtesting, so it turned out a bit harder than i thought. Thank you! :D

Very hard game for me, but I love the 1-bit graphics style, and wonderful sound design! Great job!

Thank you! :D

The look and music are really cool ! Even if I suck at the game I like it a lot!

I like the style, pretty cool system! If you wanted to keep the inverted controls as the main difficulty, l wonder if keeping each car to its lane would have made more sense as I ended up just switching the cars at the start to limit that issue. Random generation is tough but good job in such short amount of time. With more probability tweaking, this could be a real fun mobile game!

Developer(+1)

yeah, the random generation was extremely hard, it almost made me lose most of my time, but yeah, the more i looked into it, it probably would have been better to keep both cars in one lane, and the inverted controls were kind of an accident, i never noticed they felt weird during testing. Thanks for the feedback! Glad you enjoyed!

Really cool game idea with a nice a simple art style! The polish was great throughout the game! My one improvement is to alter the difficulty curve because it got very hard very quick! Nice entry!

Developer

Ha, I guess i never did do really proper playtesting and i saved creating the levels to near the end. Thanks for the feedback! :D

I like it it's fun and nice challenge though I feel like the cars needed a rigid body or something. You can kinda cheese it by overlapping each other

Developer

Yeah, i originally kept it like that as a risk-reward strategy  but the more i look into it, it would have just been better to add a wall on the road divider so they couldn't pass it. But there was a scrapped 2-player version where the cars  had collision so they couldn't pass each other and it made some levels straight up impossible. Thanks for the feedback!

Clever idea inverting the sides to control the vehicles! :)

Developer

You do know you can cross the center line... right? having the arrows start on the right and the WASD start on the left was complete accident, but i'm glad you enjoyed it(?)

Submitted

yep, I commented on it through discord  :v xtictactoc

Developer

Oh ok, sorry.

Submitted

Really good idea but maybe a little repetitive.. maybe you should had randomness in objects speed

Developer(+1)

hmm, yeah, i even have a way how to manipulate the speed, but i never thought of that

I like the style.  The engine rev up sound is perfect.

Developer

Ah, thanks, i really liked the sound as well, it's a lot better than the music :D

Nice game! I like the artwork and the sound design. I'm impressed you did all of that by yourself as a beginner. Good job! Just a little note though if I may. It feels a little weird to control the car on the left with arrow keys and the one on the right with WASD. The other way around would have been more natural in my opinion.

Developer

Thank you! I'm in the middle of developing another game outside of the jam which gave me a bit more experience but other wise, i was fairly new. And i never really noticed the whole WASD/arrow key swap, so thanks for pointing it out!

Submitted

Nice game, I liked the sound effects very much! great job.

Developer

Thanks! I like the sounds a lot more than the music, mainly because i don't really like the music that much.

Simple but fun gameplay. Cool art style, too

Developer

1-Bit is my favorite artstyle so I'm happy the them was two! Thank you!
