Combination of the environment, screen effects, and music is really good. The snow effect and the lean really sells the effect. I was half expecting to be eaten by a yeti.
Snowboarding feels fun but it's really easy for steering to spin out of control so I found it best to go straight with only minimal turning when necessary. Once I figured out you could just stop fairly easily the game became trivially easy.
I think the game could benefit a lot from some difficulty ramping, and maybe some extra things to break up the monotony, like opportunities for jumps/pickups to tempt the player into taking risks.
The snowboarding controls were clean along with the IK leaning to really sell the feeling of riding a snowboard! The music choice was fun to listen to as I was cruising down the hill as well. I think adding some simple stuff to collect while riding down the hill would have made the game a lot more engaging though! Nice work!
Was thinking of doing that just never got around to it/got it to feel good. Was thinking of having coffee bags you pick up to boost your speed
Feels good to play! Do the different characters get different obstacle spawning or was that a coincidence? In terms of gameplay I think maybe the player should have less control over their speed, most of the danger came from me just holding 'W' xD
It is completely random, or as random as unity can make it. They are all different size though so might feel different. Wanted to implement a feature that gave you points based on how dangerously you were going down the hill but did not have time.
