This is so clever! the mechanics are extremely fun an refreshing and make for fun movement and challenges. The art and sounds are also on point and really make the game feel fun to play and fleshed out. Great work!

It would mean a lot if you could check out my game for the Jam and leave feedback if you get the chance. Thanks!

Amazing Game! I enjoyed it very much! I would have liked to to play more but my pc was burning while I was playing it so I couldn't play much but good game still!

Super fun game! Love the dashing mechanic. Felt a lot like Celeste (and I mean that as a huge compliment) and had some really pretty polished graphics as well! Dashing is always a blast.

Wow, this is probably the first time I've seen someone record and upload gameplay of any of my games! Watched the video, and i'm glad you enjoyed the game!

It took me a while to figure out I could dash from mid-air. But after that it was pretty fun. And I got stuck where it looks like you have to go down, right, left and right to avoid spikes (except you can't change direction that many times)... unless I was supposed to go somewhere else before. I might have got lost in the dungeon. I've made lots of mistakes, but at least there's checkpoints, so I can try over and over. And the art made of squares look pretty nice.

I like the music too (could have wanted a slightly longer song, or perhaps having different songs played when you're outdoors and when you're in the dungeon, but I know it's one of those things that can be hard to get right in a small amount of time). As for sound effects, those are nice too. There's a sound for dashing and there's one for reaching a checkpoint. And if you die, you get back to the previous checkpoint, triggering its sound effect.

And the theme, I didn't see much of it. I felt like I was just falling further and further down, but maybe I didn't play through enough of the game.

Edit : Thought you meant a different section. Yah, you prob had the max dashes for that section. I tried to make it easy, but I guess I failed. Try to improve it after rating period

Yeah, for the part you got stuck at, you had to explore and look for more dashes to get past it. Could have done a better job at making it easier for navigation. The little white arrows you see are supposed to indicate how many dashes you need, but I didn't really do a good job at indicating that. As for the music, it was my first time making music for a game in general, so it's nice that you liked it. And yeah, the limitation was there, but the theme was kind of bs'd at the end. Rushed development makes you cut corners in some places.

Tricky little game, I like it! Dash mechanic felt good, though I wish I could have aimed it a little easier some times, maybe with the help of my mouse

Art was clean and clear (though I'm a sucker for minimalism) and the backing track had me trying to dash along to the beat just so I could tap along to it.

I didn't think i'd like the game as much as i did, very simple graphics yet fun to play. Music was nice too. I also see a little bit of celeste in it! Overall nice game! :)

O-M-Mind is blown! This game is sooo good. I am really jealous that this idea isn't mine. This is soo fun! My only complain is that there's a bug that doesn't always let me dash diagonally.

Edit: This bug only appeared when I used the ARROWS. When I switched to WASD it worked for some reason.

Pretty neat. Visuals are pretty great. I had some performance problems with and was missing that little bit of air control.

I really liked this game! The idea is original, the art is simple but  really well done and the music is also pretty good. Although it's a bit hard, but that's with most jam games anyway (including mine). The implementation of the theme isn't great but that doesn't stop it from being a really good game!

I somehow got stuck exactly at the edge of the first elevation. My cube stayed red, so I couldn't move anymore :p

Edit after I have played it for longer: I really like the game! The music is very nice too!

I really enjoyed it thx for making this game. I think that the spikes were a bit harsh sometimes and could be a bit more forgiving perhaps by reducing their collision shape just a tad. I loved the movement mechanic But I think the there and back got a bit misinterpreted for me. I get that you can return but I don't really see a need to as you developed a huge world.

If im being honest, the theme was kind of bs'ed at the end. There was an error that killed me for some odd hours and stopped me from finishing the ending, which would have completed the theme. Glad you enjoyed the game, though!

I totally get that. I ran out of time and only ended up with one level in mine lol
