I couldn’t really understand what was the goal.

I saw the collectables and the purple ball, but stopped in there.

The camera was my only negative. Of course there was no audio of music, so it would be interesting to have them be voiced.

Brilliant concept, would highly recommend taking it further into a full game. Great fun, very clever. Camera's a bit wobbly though.

Developer

Thank You,

I will deferentially add some more levels and maybe do a bit more polish (especially the camera).

This was great! Love the concept, it was challenging and forced me to think in a new and different way. Stylistically similar to portal, but it also made me feel similarly. Very cool. Art and sound etc. could be improved but the mechanics speak for themselves in some ways. The camera was mental but kind wonderful, I got used to it after a while and it gave me a lot of freedom, but definitely not to everyone's tastes. Loved it.

Developer

Thank you for your kind words,
I struggle a bit with the camera decision. I hear a lot that it is difficult.
In a newer version I at least added the ability to change the sensitivity.
Maybe this will help, not sure. But I like the smooth movement in a way, hmm.

To be honest, whilst creating the concept I thought a lot of portal so I went into the laboratory environment.
I'm glad you liked it :)

Great Game! I had a lot of fun playing it and I would like to see some more levels in the future!

Developer

Thank You, :)
Eventually i will add some more, hehe

Cool little physics based platformer! Would love to see some additional polish. Biggest problem I think was the camera being too darn sensitive. It made me pretty motion sick actually :(

Developer

Ohh man, i actually feel so sad. I'm so sorry!
That sensitivity is waaay to high. I normally play on low dpi on my (hehe) gaming mouse so i hadn't any trouble but wiow... I can totally understand the comments right now. I hope it was not to worse. And Thank you so much for so much effort on playing/commenting. This means a lot to me.

I liked this game, the cam was a little weird and I took my way too long to find the tutorial text but overall very good idea!

The controls were good, and the game wasn't bad either, however I'd rather write down the things that I think should be changed, because the little things can add up and that results in bad rewievs.

I think a 1st person camera might have been better than 3rd person. There should be more feedback that the ball is currently merged or not. Maybe a 3rd color or the two colors on each side of the ball would have been good. The add of physics meant that the balls are hard to get on the button. And the button was more like a switch so that took me a while to figure out.

Developer

Thank You,

I was fiddling with a first person camera in the first place but that felt way to weird. Especially the split and swap to the other character. So i decided to stay with a slow chasing 3rd person camera.

I agree, that there should be a visual feedback for the merged state! Something for the list, i guess :)

This is a nice little game, but could use some more polish and sounds, for example the camera movement was really hard to control, so maybe for your next game add a way to change the sensitivity and i didn't notice the hints at the bottom till i so try make those more visible or bigger so that the player sees them. Little things like that! :) The character controls felt pretty good so nothing bad to say about that. Good job!

Developer

Thank You, glad you liked it.

Yea, I guess the sensitivity was way to high. I like it that way but an option to adjust it would have been much better. I guess i should learn some UI / menus next. :)

And the hint text was definitivly to small. Your right on that one ;-)

So, I liked the premise and the mechanics with the splitting dude and the platforming, but there was definitely some improvement needed for a couple of things.

First: The camera movement was really rather finicky and hard to maneuver sometimes.

Second: The collectable noise was good (if a little loud) but there wasn't much else

Third: I didnt notice the little hints at the bottom until a minute or two in. Maybe a better guide format would be better

Developer

Thank you!

I agree with the guide, i mostly tested it in editor and there it was so big until i built the game for upload (lesson learned i guess :-) ), hehe.

I did enjoy my time playing this game. The mechanic is pretty unique, and the fact that you need to be together to do a dash seems like a great foundation to build a puzzle game on along with the splitting mechanic. The art while a bit simple works just fine, but I was a little sad not to see, or hear any music  or sound effects for pressing buttons and opening doors. The camera was also a bit twitchy for my own liking. And honestly having a menu or some way to exit the game in play would be great as well.

Its kinda sad that there is just the tutorial, and as such the game really doesn't have the theme implemented. I would have been happy to play more.

Developer

Thank You,

Yes, next on the list were more levels and music but that was sadly way to much for the remaining time.

But the theme is in that way matches as you have to split and go 'there' and com back to complete the level. :-)
