Hey! good work! I think doing this with your kids is amazing, good work!

Personally I would have preferred it all the move a little quicker but the premise is cool, it reminds me of those coin machines inside arcades where you're trying to push prizes out by putting coins into the machine.

Thanks for the game! Good luck in your next jam!

Thank you for playing our game. As always, I have troubles judging the speed at which the game should run. Hopefully something I can improve on in the future.

Best of luck in the jam!

Interesting Idea!

The instructions weren't very clear(and a bit hard to read in game), so it took me a second to figure out how to get the game going.

When it comes to instructions, making it as short and sweet as possible is key. Most people will glaze over paragraphs.

Since there was no sound effect for the boss picking up the coins, it made it harder to tell who was getting what in real time, making me stare at the totals instead of the main part of the game.

Imo, it's kinda tedious to have to spam click on the buttons on the right AND spam click on the machine. I think it would have been better to choose the coin you want and be able to click on the machine right away.

I think with more polish, and a little faster pace for the coins falling, this clicker game has potential. :)

Thank you for playing our game. I know the instructions were a bit long. I probably should have named it introduction instead. That's why it was so long. I was trying to give a little background to the game.

I also knew I should have made a sound for the boss collecting coins. I was going to add it in, but focused more on making sure the game functioned properly. I simply didn't have time to create the sound and add it in.

The spam clicking.. that was my version of work. I had it where the player had unlimited coins to add to the machine and it got boring very quickly. The work buttons off to the side added a little something to the game.

Best of luck in the jam. :)

Hello, sadly I can't run the game. I get an error message and the .exe closes automatically before even really starting.

I'm sorry you were not able to play the game. I am not sure what is going on with that. The only suggestion I can think of would be to make sure you unzip the file before playing, but I don't know if that was the source of your difficulties. I also made it on a Windows machine and do not know if it will play on a non-Windows machine.

This game was made by my children and I. They are teenagers and have found they really enjoy helping me with game jams. This is their third game jam they have participated in. My daughter did most of the artwork and my son did the sound effects. I put it all together through coding in C++ with Visual Sudios, SDL2, and SDL_Mixer.  We hope you enjoy the game.
