I don't know why but the audio wouldn't work for me. I tried reloading, and it still wouldn't work. Otherwise a nice game, simple but effective. Love the art style.

Hey hey! Thanks for playing - what browser did you use? I tested in Chrome and Safari and both seemed to work just fine but there are a lot of variables - it’s sad to hear that you didn’t hear our audio :( Let me know how I can help and thank you so much for the feedback!

I use Brave browser. I did double check my audio was working, it was just this game that wouldn't play music for me. Maybe I'll try in Chrome later when I have time.

Cool Game ! It's a neat idea & quite fun to play.

My only nitpicking is that I would have prefered to play with the arrow keys instead of wasd since I don't have a qwerty keyboard. (I have a feeling it would have helped with readability also)
And maybe directly go back in the game after you die instead of going back to menu.

great work :)

Hey there! Thanks for your feedback - I also realized in the end that arrow keys were probably a better way to go and yes, I realized I made the process of restarting the game a bit tedious. Great input :)

Cool design, very cool idea - unfortunately, unplayable. I tried multiple times, but i dont understand what I am supposed to do. Hitting the shown keys make the astoriods jiggle, but only "S" actually breaks. Very sad.

You have to hold the note to make the astroid burst.

Will try again :)

Thanks for playing, I am very glad you enjoyed it! Yeah, you need to hold keys and only the specific keys required by the combination :) Not the most obvious design that I glad was tested.

With the hint it worked smoothly. A very quick in-game introduction would have helped me along - then again, I am probably being dense here xD

Developer

Not at all, this is a perfect feedback, exactly the stuff I am looking for. I paced the start of the game to give the player time to get used to the controls without explicitly telling the rules… but a small controls screen would be a nice safety net.
