Felt really confusing to use the vortexstone, and it says use any key to activate the stone, however it seemed space was the only button that did anything to the stone. Once I started to figure out how to play, I found myself having quite a bit of fun. It was extremely rewarding having 4 monkeys all get trapped in the same plant, felt really good.

You made this game very well. I didnt experience any bugs and played for longer than most other games. Good job!

Developer

Thanks for playing! Glad to hear that :)

Really Cool Game, I Didn't Really Know How To Play At First But Later The Game Felt Really Good After, I Like The Art. That All, Good Game ;P

Thanks for playing :)

I liked this game because I could creatively take out the monkeys. I also liked the immersion it gave. The only problem was that I couldn't figure out how to use the vortex stones.

Developer

Thanks for playing. Glad to hear you played it creatively. Others have had difficulty with the vortex stones too. Fire one at an enemy, hold fire till the bar fills and don't move.

Love the art and sound! It felt very immersive! It had a lot more going for it than i realized when trying it the first play. Good Entry, congrats!

Developer

Thanks, I'm delighted that you feel immersed in the game too. What was the 'lot more' that you didn't initially see? I'm always looking to improve :)

I enjoyed the hand drawn graphics! And there is definitely a sense of satisfaction to lead the enemy into the fly trap. I had trouble understanding what the vortex stones did or how to use them. It would be cool to see some more options for clearing threats, but I also couldn't make it past the 3rd round so maybe there are some more in later rounds. Nice work! I had fun.

Thanks for playing, I'm glad you enjoyed it. Vortexstones work like the pump in Digdug, you fire one and once it attached to an enemy you can press/hold any button (except movement) to fill the bar and clear the threat.

Thanks! That makes a lot of sense. That definitely increased the "fun" aspect for me.
