How does your game implement the focus, Multi-Use?
My game is a farming game where each crop has effects on the crops beside it. Every pair of crops has different effects on each other, so the crops are a multi-use mechanic. Additionally, crops are both used to determine your end-game score but can also be converted into money to buy more seeds, so the harvested crops are also multi-use.

Nice game! short, simple, and really fun. As others have said, the selecting seeds and plots needs a bit of refinement. There are so many options for how to make that work, so I won't bombard you with ideas for that, unless you ask lol.
I also really liked the menu system. All of the animations and everything were pleasant to look at and fit the game really well. I am curious, do you do a lot of gardening yourself? Or did you do some research on the topic going into the game? Because on your game page, you explain 'companion planting' and I thought that was really interesting. Nice work, keep it up!

Thank you for your kind comments! If you have specific ideas I would love to hear it, more grist for the design mill :)

I do not garden but I have a friend who is very into gardening. I got the idea from talking to her!

LÖVEly game. Quite a fun concept. Could be an interesting game if expanded further. My only gripes are that I'd rather select a crop and keep planting it than the other way around like it is now, and that in the first stage of growth it can be hard to tell which crop is which. Other than that, well done!

Sounds like a consensus might be forming on the planting :P Thanks for playing!

This game could be a lot of fun if you expanded on the concept. It's almost like an idle game.

Props for using Love2D. I used it years and years ago. Compared to modern engines like GameMaker, Unity, Godot, etc. Love is definitely hard mode.

My biggest complaint is that there is A LOT of clicking. Select a plot, go click a button on the other side of the screen, go select another plot, etc. Rinse and repeat. It should work the other way around: select a crop and then click on a plot to plant it.

Anyway, it was an interesting concept that was fairly well executed. Good job!

Totally fair points. Thanks for playing!

A farming game! I love farming! At first I thought it was an idle clicker, but I had to do a lot of clicking! :) Very fun concept, I love the growth stages and chill music. Simple and sweet. Great game jam game! You should add turnips!

Thank you so much for playing! I'm glad you liked it <3
