Really fun game, and really well implemented! The two music tracks were great at segmenting the action part and the setup part, and sounded great too. I also really liked the sprite work, especially the UI components - the fertilizer/pesticide bar was really nice looking.

I'm not sure if it was a bug, but I think I got placed in the tutorial the first time I clicked the play button (not the in-game one, the one on the player frame itself)? Or maybe I might have hit a key or something without realizing the game was focused. Either way, small thing, not experience breaking at all.

The other thing is I wish there was a dash button! Just to have something to do while running from place to place :)

Great game, had fun!

Great submission! This was super fun to play. Very good 'multi-use' implementation.

Really nice game!

Congratulations :)

Neat idea, I like this take on the theme. Really nice art. Good job!

I like this one just wish the pesticide could be better targeted, you have to walk to scare the pests and then fire at them, maybe a little bit of heat resistance on the turnips.

Got over 10000 points! Really fun game idea, and I love a good theme name pun. I like the endless mode for the jam version, but I think a level mode would really make the game shine if you wanted to finish it. Great energy on the song for when aphids are attacking! Nice work, definitely worthy of high ratings!

Fun game! Interesting theme implementation - liked that "rabbits" also grow from fertilizer )

But one thing i don't understand - how lose the game ?  ))

Oh, and nice wind effect!

Fun game. I like the swap between chaos and peace. The fertilizer didn't seem as useful as the pesticide. Having to choose between ammo and score is a nice decision.

Awesome game! I was kinda unclear about the ammo mechanic how it was implemented, but the animations and sound effects were great. Also thought the AI was pretty nifty and worked well.

Wow! Really creative take on the theme!

Cool game! I would definetly play this on smartphone, maybe you could add more types of uses to your "weapon".

Would you mind trying my game out too? I would really appreciate it!

Cool mechanics and interactions. The art style feels noisy, I think it would be better if it was a little bit cleaner regardless though it's a great game good job!

Cool game name and a pretty nice concept for a fun little game! In love that enemies also grow when you fertilize them. That is a nice little detail. Well done!

What I liked :

  • Music
  • Respect of theme/focus
  • Some effort on polish

What could be improved :

  • better feedback when something is fertilized would be great.
  • (I think it's a bug, but the flame thrower also throw vegetable  particles...
  •  Some upgrades will help to play more
  • Some variety on enemies/map, begin with tiny field, then enlarge them by removing the forest, and get more aphid, and more dangerous ones.
  • Not sure the limitation on gun ammo is useful, as you already need to take care not to burn the plants (witch is clever)

Hope it helps

Fluid controls, fast-paced action. I love how you absolutely have to aim correctly or you will (a) burn your crops or (b) make the pests gigantic. The dual-use of your spray nozzle is a very good implementation of the jam focus.

Some audio and visual feedback when killing an aphid would be nice. It's just not as satisfying to watch them disappear. Also, the music got somewhat grating.

Also, some more variety would help keep things fresh. I played for about 4 waves and got some bigger aphids, but the cycle was mostly the same... not sure if the game changes after that.

Good game, the art, visual effects and music really sell the vibe. It's engaging to have to choose between saving a crop and being able to blast a big group of enemies.

Wow loved the base concept. Art, music, sounds and scaling felt solid. More variation in enemies, character/item upgrades or plants would boost this game. Altogether one of the better submissions this jam!

Loved the mechanic of having to swap back and forth between right and left click in order to use the right attack. Great Job!

The game music and sfx made my day!

A REALLY good game you’ve got here…

I feel like beating up Emus and my crops at the same ti~

Yeah, it felt more of an action-packed game than a planting game for me.

But either way, that’s just some genre-crisis, hope you win this jam!

Really good game you got here. It went with the theme really well having a multi-use fertilizer/flamethrower that also gets more chaotic all tied together with the pun in the name. Great stuff, I really wanted a way to use the points between rounds but you can only do so much in a limited time frame. Really solid entry and a fun gameplay loop!
